Show Explanation/Analysis

Preferred IV: +ATK or +SPD

  • An asset to Attack or Speed best compliments Delthea’s offensive playstyle with this set.

Weapon: Death (+Eff)

Assist: Positional Assist

Special: Ruptured Sky / Draconic Aura / Dragon Fang / Blazing Wind

  • The choice of Special is largely dependent on how many extra stats you want to get out of Delthea’s weapon. Ruptured Sky and Draconic Aura can be easier to activate consistently given their lower cooldown while high cooldown Specials such as Dragon Fang and Blazing Wind can be more difficult to activate but grant a higher stat bonus in combat through Delthea’s weapon.

Passive A: Atk/Spd Boosting A Skills / *Life and Death / *Fury

  • Any skill that greatly boosts Delthea’s offensive stats such as Atk/Spd Ideal makes for a great choice of A slot.
    • For area-of-effect (AoE) Specials such as Blazing Wind, the damage is scaled based on visible attack. Life and Death or Fury are both suitable options for this role. The former grants a higher boost to Atk/Spd at the cost of defensive stats while the latter is a moderate boost to all stats while inflicting damage after combat.

Passive B: Special Spiral / Tempo Skills / Null Follow-Up

  • Since Delthea’s weapon does not have Special cooldown acceleration, Special Spiral is a great choice for ensuring that Delthea is able to consistently activate her Special following the initial activation.
  • Tempo skills such as A/R Tempo also makes for a solid B slot option by neutralizing foe’s effects that prevent you from charging your Special such as Guard.
  • Null Follow-Up is a coveted meta skill that disables any foe's skills that guarantee their follow-up attack or prevent yours.

Passive C: Time’s Pulse  / Flexible

  • Given that Delthea’s weapon’s scaling is based on the maximum cooldown of her Special despite not having inherent cooldown acceleration, you will need a way to initially charge her Special. As such, Time’s Pulse will grant her the acceleration she needs at the start of turn.
  • The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.

Sacred Seal: Atk/Spd Boosting Seals / Null Follow-Up / Quickened Pulse

  • Further optimizing Delthea’s Atk/Spd with an accompanying seal is a great option.
  • If not already being used in the B slot, Null Follow-Up can also be used in the Sacred Seal slot.
  • Quickened Pulse can be used for an even faster initial Special charge.

Strengths

Death

On top of the exceptional +9 to all stats during combat that comes practically free. Death neutralizes the opponent’s bonuses to Spd/Res during combat and has the potential to inflict further penalties to those stats based on the maximum cooldown of Delthea’s Special. However, this weapon is more than just a huge stat stick. This weapon also opens up extraordinary movement options by granting the ability to warp to 2 spaces from any allies within 2 spaces.

Infantry

The benefit of being infantry comes with access to exceptional exclusive skills for both support

Weaknesses

Poor Physical Bulk

With a base value of only 19, you’ll need to see a lot of investment before you can even consider trying to tank a physical hit.

Recoil Damage

Don’t expect to continuously tank attacks when using Delthea’s given weapon, as it inflicts 4 recoil damage on the user after combat.
