Show Explanation/Analysis

Preferred IV: +ATK or +SPD

  • Capitalizing on the hit and run nature of this set, Leila appreciates an asset in either of her offensive stats in order to boost damage.

Weapon: Constant Dagger

  • Leila’s unique dagger turns the act of espionage into a very strong and unique type of support. On top of boosting combat prowess with a passive +3 Speed and an impressive +5 to Atk/Spd during combat, Constant Dagger has a unique function for Leila’s support partner. When Leila initiates combat within 2 spaces of the unit she is ally supported with, her foe is prevented from counterattacking and she trades spaces with the support after combat. To top it off, Constant Dagger maintains the Def/Res Smoke effect standard to most daggers.

Assist: Reposition / Flexible

Special: Glimmer / Moonbow / Blazing Wind

  • Specials with a short cooldown such as Glimmer and Moonbow are great for dealing as much damage in a single round of combat before getting out of enemy range.

  • For a more crippling attack, Blazing Wind allows Leila to deal extraordinary non-lethal damage to both her target as well as any nearby enemies before combat.

Passive A: Life and Death

  • Leila comes ready for the best A slot that she could ask for in Life and Death 4, granting her an unparalleled +7 to Atk/Spd while her weapon’s ability to negate counterattacks makes the hit to her bulk negligible.

Passive B: Disarm Trap / Special Spiral / Link Skills

  • Disarm Trap is the premium choice when taking Leila into Aether Raids, as it allows her to act without fear of setting off a Gravity or Bolt trap.

  • Special Spiral is a very strong offensive skill that allows Leila to activate her Special at a constant rate following the initial activation.

  • Link Skills can prove to be a useful alternative when sending Leila into combat, one may use a movement Assist skill such as Smite or Reposition.

Passive C: Smoke Skills / Flexible

  • Atk Smoke and Spd Smoke are perfect for magnifying the debuff support that Constant Dagger proves. This pairs especially well with an ally support partner that uses a debuff-scaling weapons such as Broadleaf Fan or Blizzard.

  • Pulse Smoke makes for a great alternative against Infantry Pulse-based teams by preventing opponents inflicted with the debuff from activating their Special.

Sacred Seal: Flashing Blade / Swift Sparrow / Atk or Spd Smoke

  •  Flashing Blade makes use of Leila’s fantastic Speed to accelerate the cooldown of her Specials.

  • Swift Sparrow further boosts Leila’s offensive power by granting a bonus to her key stats on initiation.

  • If not already being utilized in the C slot, Atk Smoke and/or Spd Smoke can also be run in the Sacred Seal slot.

Alternate: Flashing Blade 3

Show Explanation/Analysis

Preferred IV: +ATK

  • An asset in Attack is preferable above all else in order to deal as much damage as possible in a single hit.

Weapon: Broadleaf Fan+ (+Atk)

  • Despite being designed with support in mind, Leila’s fantastic offensive stat spread make her a choice user of Broadleaf Fan herself.

Assist: Reposition / Flexible

Special: Glimmer / Miracle

  • As an all-purpose damage dealing option meant for opening attacks, Glimmer is the superior choice of Special.

  • For something a bit more interesting, one can make very effective use of Miracle by combining it with the Flashing Blade Sacred Seal as well as any amount of Infantry Pulse support. This can act as a useful safety net when tackling many opponents at once.

Passive A: Close Counter

Passive B: Vantage

  • The main focus of this set is running Close Counter with Vantage. Upon hitting the HP threshold for Vantage, any subsequent opponents that initiate on Leila are forced to take at least one hit before having the chance to counterattack.

Passive C: Smoke skills / Time Pulse / Savage Blow

  • Smoke skills such as Atk Smoke and Spd Smoke remain great options when paired with Broadleaf Fan, as the weapon’s damage scales with the amount of debuffs on the opponent. If that debuff support is already being provided by another ally, Pulse Smoke is the way to go.

  • Time Pulse can help with the activation of Miracle or simply giving Leila a much stronger initial combat.

  • Savage Blow can make an enemy team a bit easier to OHKO by dealing damage to opponents around Leila’s target after combat.

Sacred Seal: Atk or Spd Smoke / Brazen Atk/Def / Flashing Blade

  • Anything that boosts raw damage during the Enemy Phase such as Brazen Atk/Def or Fierce Stance makes for a great choice of Sacred Seal.

  • If not already being utilized in the C slot, Atk Smoke and/or Spd Smoke can also be run in the Sacred Seal slot.

  • Flashing Blade pairs with Miracle by allowing for a quick activation in only a single round of combat.

Strengths

Constant Dagger

You would think there weren’t enough effects to pack onto a single weapon with Constant Dagger sporting two different offensive stat boosts, the ability to prevent foes from counterattacking, swapping spaces with her ally support partner, and the dagger debuff effect. Constant Dagger is a truly unique and powerful weapon.

Exceptional Offensive Stats

Sporting a truly standout 36 Attack and 41 Speed at base, Leila can easily dish out significant damage while doubling almost any opponent she faces.

Weaknesses

Very Poor Bulk

If Leila is ever unfortunate enough to have an enemy attack her directly, little is stopping them from tearing through her feeble base 23 Defense and 26 Resistance.
