Show Explanation/Analysis

Weapon: Rauðrraven+ / Loyal Wreath+ (+Def) / Rauðrserpent+ (+Def)

  • Despite not being refinable,  Rauðrraven makes for a very effective choice by granting weapon triangle advantage over the wide array of strong colorless foes.
  • Loyal Wreath and Rauðrserpent both work as solid defensive options by granting in combat stat boosts, the former being +3 to all stats when adjacent to another all while the latter grants +6 to Def and Res when attacked at range. Both are refined for Defense to even out Lorenz’s bulk

Assist: Reposition

Special: Noontime / Sol / Moonbow

  • Healing Specials such as Sol and Noontime are the most effective options for increasing Lorenz’s sustainability.
  • Since Lorenz has not particularly high stats to take advantage of, a Special that scales based on foe’s stats such as Moonbow makes for a solid offensive alternative.

Passive A: Atk/Res Solo / Atk/Spd Solo / Close Counter/Foil

  • Most combinations of Solo skill makes for an effective choice by granting a significant stat boost when not adjacent to any allies.
    • Note: This is anti-synergetic with Loyal Wreath+. The bond variants of these stat boosts are applicable in this case
  • Close Foil also makes for a solid Enemy Phase option by allowing Lorenz to retaliate against a much wider range of opponents as well as granting a significant boost to Atk/Def during combat. In exchange for the stat boost, one can also choose to run Close Counter to be able to counterattack against dragon units

Passive B: Lull Atk/Res / Null Follow-up / Special Spiral / Quick Riposte

  • Lull skills such as Lull Atk/Res increase both Lorenz’s overall bulk and damage output by inflicting an in combat debuff on the foe’s accompanying stats as well as neutralizing bonuses.
  • Null Follow-up is a strong anti-meta skill that one can take in order to disable any form of foe’s automatic follow-up attacks as well as anything that may prevent them. This includes skills such as Bold Fighter, Wary Fighter, Quick Riposte, as well as many unique weapons.
  • Special Spiral can be very effective on an Enemy Phase build when paired with a 3 cooldown Special. Following the initial activation, Lorenz’s Special will be at a constant cooldown of 1 after combat, allowing him to activate his Special upon every single counterattack.
  • In contrast to the aforementioned very expensive skills, Quick Riposte is a good cheap alternative for Ishigami to run in the B slot.

Passive C: Smoke Skills / Flexible

  • Smoke skills such as Pulse Smoke are very effective when taking on multiple opponents. Pulse Smoke is particularly effective in reducing the damage of opponents around the target after combat by slowing down the activation of their Special.
  • A stat debuffer such as Atk Smoke also does well to accomplish this while Res Smoke allows Lorenz to deal additional damage to inflicted opponents.
  • The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.

Sacred Seal: Spd/Res Solo / Stance Skills / Distant Defense

  • All of the following make for good choices of Sacred Seals by granting in combat stat boosts under different conditions that suit Enemy Phase combat.

Strengths

Good HP

Lorenz’s impressive HP pool of 45 allows for effective use of HP-centric skills such as Infantry Pulse and Sudden Panic

Uhhhhh

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Weaknesses

Overall unimpressive statline

32 Attack and 31 Speed is less than stellar in terms of offensive firepower coupled with sub 30 values in Def and Res and no other unique qualities such as a prf weapon, Lorenz’s biggest contribution is probably his art.
