  • This build focuses on keeping Silque alive as much as possible by bulking up her defensive stats while also allowing her to easily provide a hefty amount of supportive benefits.

  • Her default Rapport Wand is a wonderful pair alongside her Spd Opening C Passive that allows her to heavily buff an ally with the highest Speed at the start of a turn.

  • Melancholy is amusingly obtained by foddering her original version and helps to inflict guard debuffs and reset a target and nearby opponent’s Special cooldowns if charged.

  • Absorb can be used to give Silque in combat self sustain, but the low weapon might alongside Silque’s lower end attack drastically hampers Absorb unless Attack support is provided to Silque as much as possible.

  • The choice of healing Skill as well as Special can vary depending on a player’s preference. Her default Martyr+ and Heavenly Light are solid, but Recover+ and Miracle can be examples of other alternatives to use.

  • Fort. Def/Res boosts both defensive stats of Silque making it a prime choice, but Close Counter can be considered to have a chance to tank and counter attack against melee range opponents. As these options are quite expensive, a simple defense booster such as Fortress Def can be run on a tight budget.

  • Ideally, if running a Dazzling Staff weapon, Wrathful Staff should be in the B Passive, and vice versa if the reverse occurs. Otherwise, Wings of Mercy and Live to Serve are useful utility for more mobility or self sustain in the event of lacking one of these B Passives.

  • While Silque’s default Spd Opening is a strong option to start off with, any C Passive can be run according to the player’s needs.

  • The Live to Serve Sacred Seal gives Silque a way of healing her wounds when she heals an ally. A defensive boosting Sacred Seal such as the Def/Res Bond Sacred Seal can be used instead to further boost Silque’s defensive stats.

  • While Silque does not have strong Attack and Speed to abuse, she can take advantage of the innate safety from Dazzling Staff paired with Wrathful Staff to pull off some respectable hit and run weakening damage.

  • Pain can be chosen to apply chip damage to both the target as well as those nearby the target after combat, while Gravity can help to reduce movement to 1 space, allowing Silque to be pulled away to safety with the help of allies while the enemy has trouble pursuing.

  • The Healing Skill as well as the Special are flexible which is often the case with healers, Silque’s native Martyr+ and Heavenly Light definitely being workable options.

  • An offensive A Passive should be utilized, and Attack boosting Solo Skills are a highlight thanks to their easily activated boost of 6 Attack. Atk/Res Solo and Atk/Def Solo can provide Silque some Attack alongside defenses if she is forced to Enemy Phase. Atk/Res bond and Atk/Def Bond are somewhat easier to come by thanks to their accessibility through the Heroic Grail exchange making them worthwhile alternatives that can also be paired with the Bond Sacred Seals. If these Skills are too tight of a cost, Attack+3 can be used as a simple boost in damage.

  • While Silque’s Speed stat is atrociously low, there does exist ways of very inconsistently boosting Silque’s Speed to amusing levels. Atk/Spd Push 4 can grant Silque 7 Attack/Speed while it is in effect, and Atk/Spd Bond can give Silque 5 Attack/Speed while in effect. If Atk/Spd Push 4 and the Atk/Spd Bond Sacred Seal are combined, Silque can reach a shockingly middling Speed stat of 34, which can be increased to 40 Speed with a boost from Hone Cavalry. This is very impractical due to how much set up is required on an extremely slow unit, but can in theory secure some follow-up attacks on middling Speed opponents that Silque would have otherwise never dreamed of achieving.

  • The C Passive is flexible depending on the player’s needs, but Savage Blow can pair wonderfully with the Player Phase nature of this build, and can be stacked even further with the Savage Blow Sacred Seal.

Strengths

Wonderful Base Kit to Start Off

Valentine Silque comes with a shockingly potent base kit out of the box, possessing Rapport Wand which when combined with her default Spd Opening, allows her to grant the ally on her team that possesses the highest Speed with a boost of 5 Attack/Defense and 6 Speed at the start of a turn. With her B Passive as Live to Serve and her healing Skill as Martyr+, she should have little to no issues in keeping her own HP topped off when she heals allies. All she’s really missing is an A Passive and you could very well make use of her entire base kit as is, allowing her to be a fairly reasonable low investment unit.

Potent Mixed Bulk

Valentine Silque has 40 HP, 32 Defense, and 29 Resistance. Her defensive spread allows her to shrug off hits surprisingly well if she is forced to take damage, and she can easily be compared to her original counterpart but less base stats as compensation for being a cavalry unit compared to an infantry unit.

Cavalry Unit

As long as there are no trenches or forests to get in the way, Valentine Silque’s benefits as a cavalry unit allow her to easily get around the battlefield to protect those in danger as well as cleanse their wounds. She also has access to the ever readily available cavalry buffs to take advantage of.

Weaknesses

Low Attack and Lower Speed

In exchange for having strong defensive stats across the board, Silque’s Attack and Speed are not so lucky. With a lower end Attack stat of 28, Silque may find herself struggling to output damage without a strong boost to her Attack even if she is running Wrathful Staff. Her Speed is absolutely abysmal with a base value of 22, making her sit among the slowest healers in the game. As a result, Silque doesn’t necessarily do offensive sets all too well, though she can definitely attempt them if one is okay with the fact that she will not do too much damage nor will she be able to secure a follow-up attack.

Anti-Cavalry Weapons

As with any cavalry unit, anti-cavalry weapons are a major threat to fear. As durable as Valentine Silque can be, all it would take is a fatal strike from a unit such as Brave Micaiah with her Light of Dawn to make Silque wish to turn back the clock with Mila’s Turnwheel.
