  • Walhart’s new refine makes him a potent player phase threat as it gives him a massive stat boost in addition to inflicting a massive Attack and Defense penalty and the Flash status effect to foes within 4 spaces. As if that wasn’t enough, Walhart also inflicts an additional -5 Attack and Defense to foes who are above 75% HP, giving him a significant advantage against any foes he initiates on with these effects active.
  • Thanks to his status preventing counterattacks, Walhart can freely invest in his Speed further to perform follow-up attacks more often against low-mid tier Speed foes, as he has more than enough bulk to handle most Null C-Disrupt users regardless. An AR-D skill such as AR-D Atk/Spd is a good choice if one wishes to use Walhart for AR Defense purposes, but otherwise stick to typical Attack and Speed boosting skills such as Atk/Spd Catch.
  • Trace skills let Walhart become a devastating hit and run attacker thanks to Canto, but these skills are fairly difficult to obtain and can be replaced with a Lull Skill or Chill Def if they’re unavailable. Flow Guard and Flow Refresh are also great choices if available as they allow Walhart to negate follow-up prevention skills.
  • Heavy Blade is ideal if one chooses to run Galeforce on Walhart, and it’s a good option in general to give him faster access to his special. Otherwise, it’s best to stack more Attack and Speed with seals such as Blade Session.

Strengths

Refined Wolf Berg

Walhart’s refined Wolfberg is incredibly strong, giving him a +6 buff to all of his stats when he’s within 4 spaces of a foe as well as inflicting -7 Attack and Defense and the Flash status effect on top of inflicting an additional Attack and Defense penalty in combat to foes above or equal to 75% HP. This weapon singlehandedly turns Walhart from a generic axe cavalier to a dangerous threat on Player Phase, thanks especially to the Flash effect which makes tanking him a difficult task for many units, even those with Null C-Disrupt.

Walhart’s lackluster base 16 Resistance means that almost any magic user regardless of color will likely KO him in a single round of combat without any issues.
