Weapon: New-Height Bow

Assist: Positional Assist

Special: Moonbow

Passive A: Atk/Spd Push 4 / Fury 4

Passive B: Windsweep / Watersweep / S/D Far Trace / Desperation

Passive C: Savage Blow / Joint Drive Spd / Spd/Def Rein

Sacred Seal: Fury

  • In addition to granting Florina -1 Special cooldown, +6 Atk/Spd, and true damage equal to 15% of her Spd, New-Height Bow also allows allies to teleport adjacent to Florina if her HP is ≤ 60%. This universal Wings of Mercy effect makes Florina a particularly strong choice for both general offense and Aether Raids Offense teams.
  • The combination of Atk/Spd Push 4 and Fury allows Florina to drop to ≤ 60% HP after two combats if her max HP is ≤ 55, making these skills ideal for Florina’s A and S slots respectively. Amusingly, Florina can also drop to ≤ 60% HP in one combat with Fury 4 in her A slot and Fury in her S slot, but only if her max HP is as low as it can possibly be at Level 40 (35, only achievable with -HP IV).
  • Because Florina’s bulk is unremarkable, she greatly appreciates Windsweep or Watersweep, B slots that prevent physical or magical counterattacks respectively in exchange for not being able to perform a follow-up. For PvE purposes, however, S/D Far Trace and Desperation are also strong choices, as follow-up prevention is much less common and Florina’s OHKO capabilities are much more consistent.
  • Savage Blow inflicts 7 chip damage on enemies within two spaces of the target after initiating, making it a great C slot for setting up kills for both Florina and allies. Because【En Garde】and Far Save limit Savage Blow’s consistency, however, Spd/Def Rein and Florina’s native Joint Drive Spd are strong alternatives, and they are generally stronger choices for PvE.

Weapon: New-Height Bow

Special: Moonbow / Ruptured Sky

Passive A: Sturdy Impact

Passive B: Aerobatics

Passive C: Fatal Smoke / Panic Smoke / Joint Drive Spd / Rein Skills

Sacred Seal: Blade Session / Quickened Pulse

  • New-Height Bow allows allies within two spaces to warp to spaces within two spaces of Florina; by greatly increasing team mobility (especially for Armored allies), Florina can be an essential foundation for Aether Raids Defense teams. This build focuses on balancing Florina’s damage output and survivability, and as such, players should use Florina’s Ascended Asset to neutralize her flaw, whether it be in an offensive or defensive stat.
  • Sturdy Impact is Florina’s ideal A slot, as it grants +6 Atk, +10 Def, and follow-up prevention on initiation. This can drastically improve Florina’s survivability, ensuring that she stays alive long enough for New-Height Bow’s universal Wings of Mercy to allies to be beneficial.
  • Aerobatics is a key B slot for Florina, as boosting her mobility also boosts her allies’ mobility by extension thanks to New-Height Bow. Giving Florina a Rally Assist so that her action is prioritized over others’ is another good idea, though because Florina may consume a refresh as a result of this, going Assistless is also viable. A Positional Assist is not recommended, however, as Florina’s movement will often times be prioritized last because she is a ranged unit with a non-Rally Assist.
  • Florina’s C slot is mostly up to player preference, but some strong choices include:
    • Fatal Smoke- Inflicts【Deep Wounds】on the target and enemies within two spaces, preventing healing.
    • Panic Smoke- Inflicts【Panic】on the target and enemies within two spaces, reversing visible buffs.
    • Joint Drive Spd- Grants +4 Spd to Florina and allies within two spaces during combat, improving damage output and follow-up swings.
    • Rein Skills- Inflicts -4 to two stats on enemies within two spaces of Florina during combat, improving damage output, follow-up swings, and/or bulk depending on which stats are chosen.
  • Blade Session grants Florina +3, +6, or +9 Atk/Spd on initiation depending on how many allies have already moved (zero, one, or ≥ two respectively), making it an excellent choice for boosting Florina’s damage output. Additionally, because New-Height Bow accelerates Florina’s Special trigger, she can ready a 2-cooldown Special such as Moonbow or Ruptured Sky on turn 1 with Quickened Pulse (though she should be wary of Hardy Fighter Armors and Elimine’s Staff of the Saint on Astra/Anima season).

Strengths

Great Offenses

With a blistering 43 Spd and strong 37 Atk, Florina can consistently perform natural follow-ups and deal high damage.

New-Height Bow

While not the copium built-in Galeforce weapon that some had in mind, New-Height Bow is nonetheless a fantastic personal weapon.

  • Granting -1 Special cooldown, Florina can perform Specials more frequently and consistently than others. In combination with additional Special charges from skills such as Quickened Pulse and Grandscratcher, Florina can also immediately ready low-cooldown Specials.
  • Like Summer Tana’s Fruit of Iðunn and Ash’s Opening Retainer, Florina’s New-Height Bow allows allies within two spaces to warp to spaces within two spaces of Florina. This is essentially an upgraded and universal Guidance, significantly improving team mobility.
  • If Florina is within three spaces of an ally, she gains +6 Atk/Spd and deals true damage equal to 15% of her Spd during combat, improving her damage output. This is strikingly similar to Bridal Shanna’s Rose-Quartz Bow.
  • New-Height Bow’s most unique (and arguably most powerful) effect is that if Florina’s HP is ≤ 60%, allies can warp to spaces adjacent to her. Effectively granting all allies Wings of Mercy can be immensely powerful, as this frees up their B slots for other skills.

Weaknesses

Low Physical Bulk

39 HP and 21 Def leave Florina prone to being OHKO’d by physical enemies.

Extremely Finicky

At first glance, Florina has quite a lot going for her thanks to New-Height Bow. Upon further consideration, however, Florina also has a lot that’s…not going for her.

  • Because of her low survivability and lack of follow-up prevention, Florina is reliant on Windsweep or Watersweep, B slots that prevent physical or magical counterattacks respectively, to safely initiate. Florina also lacks a guaranteed follow-up and the offensive half of Null Follow-Up, meaning if she uses these B slots, she will not be able to perform a follow-up, which severely limits her damage output.
  • In addition to the aforementioned issues, Florina has even more caveats on Aether Raids Offense, the mode that she seemingly performs best in due to her ability to give universal Wings of Mercy. Since she is not a Dagger unit, she lacks access to Disarm Trap, turning Heavy Trap and Bolt Trap activations into guessing games; her low HP also lends itself poorly to Hex Traps. Her 2 movement and needing a refresh to drop to ≤ 60% HP through recoil damage from skills such as Fury and her native Atk/Spd Push 4 significantly limit team mobility and flexibility as well.

While Florina opens options for team members by allowing them to use B slots other than Wings of Mercy (such as Null Follow-Up and Spd/Def Tempo for Galeforcers and Sabotages for supportive allies), accommodating for Florina’s shortcomings can be a daunting process to the point that doing so overshadows her utility.

Enables【Canto (Rem.)】.  Inflicts Spd/Def-1 on foe during combat.

【Canto (Rem.)】

After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move spaces = any movement not already used that turn. (If unit used a movement skill that warped them, its remaining movement is 0.)  (Unit moves according to movement type. Once per turn. Cannot attack or assist. Only highest value applied. Does not stack. After moving, if a skill that grants another action would be triggered (like with Galeforce), Canto will trigger after the granted action. Unit's base movement has no effect on movement granted. Cannot warp (using skills like Wings of Mercy) a distance greater than unit's remaining movement.)
