- This build is designed for use as a super tank in Aether Raids. As such, the chosen skills aim to maximize her effectiveness defensively against both physical and magical enemies.
- A variety of special options are available depending on personal preference. Thanks to Bride’s Fang, Nailah can have Moonbow and Noontime available for practically every battle. If one doesn’t mind the slightly longer cooldown, their bigger alternatives Luna and Sol also work well.
- As ranged enemies are common choices for defense teams, Distant Counter is used in order to retaliate upon these foes. Null Follow-Up is primarily to help negate foes that grant themselves guaranteed follow-up attacks, but will also come in useful against skills that negate follow-ups such as Impact skills.
- Null C-Disrupt is a potent alternative B slot that can help majorly against skills such as Firesweep weapons and Dazzling Staff. Dull Ranged is a cheaper alternative that still offers good benefit through negating all visible buffs on ranged opponents.
- Glare is not as useful as one would hope in a defensive setting. For this build, Pulse Smoke is very useful for helping to weaken defense teams that rely on instant charging their Specials. Atk Smoke is cheaper and still a strong defensive option.
- Much like with the Special, there are a variety of strong Sacred Seal options available. Both Mirror Stance and Swift Stance offer a boost to Resistance and either Attack or Speed on enemy phase. Distant Def will also provide a strong defensive boost against ranged foes. While she is naturally fast, Quick Riposte can also prove useful for making sure follow-up attacks are guaranteed.

- This build is designed for full-on offensive power, making the most use out of her weapon offensively. With the right skills, Nailah can unleash extremely powerful Special attacks consistently.
- The main meat of this build comes from using Special Spiral. As long as Nailah activates her Special in battle, she can gain a huge three points of Special charge immediately after combat. Since her weapon has a slaying effect, she can instantly charge Ignis or Glacies. Combine this with her increased Special damage and an Impact skill and Nailah will be dealing incredible amounts of damage.
- Whether one chooses Ignis or Glacies depends simply on whether her Defense or Resistance is going to be higher. In general use, she will typically have more Defense than Resistance, unless she’s being used alongside two Res boosting mythic heroes for example.
- Glare can be used as a fine C slot choice which can make it easier for her teammates to rescue her. With enemies near to her target limited to one movement, it can be safer for her team to use movement assists on her safely. Outside of this, a variety of C slots, such as Rouse skills or general team buffs, will be useful.
- If using the Ignis variant of this build, Sturdy Blow is a perfect choice of Sacred Seal, helping her to naturally deal more damage and increase the potency of Ignis. Both Death Blow and Swift Sparrow make for useful Sacred Seals regardless of if using Ignis or Glacies.
- If one wants a cheaper but still potent offensive set, a combination of Moonbow, Swift Sparrow 3, and Desperation is available. This combination still gives her impressive offensive potential and Special damage.
Strengths
Bride’s Fang
Bridal Nailah’s biggest strength is her personal weapon, Bride’s Fang. This weapon comes loaded with strong effects that can benefit her both offensively and defensively.
Firstly, whenever she is fighting an enemy who’s above or equal to 75% HP, she will debuff them for five Attack, Speed, and Defense. Secondly, as long as her Special activates before or during combat and she attacks, she will get a free point of Special charge after combat. These two strong effects are on top of Bride’s Fang having a Slaying effect and the typical infantry beast transformation bonus.
Overall, an extremely potent weapon with a lot to offer for Nailah.
Strong Offensive Stats
Bridal Nailah comes with a strong offensive spread, featuring 35 Attack (37 when transformed) and 41 Speed. This results in Nailah having stellar offensive capabilities, not to mention the Speed also helping her to avoid follow-up attacks in a defensive role.
Weaknesses
Beast Requirements
In order to transform, beasts need to start their turn either adjacent to only beasts and dragons or with no adjacent allies at all. This can be a bigger hindrance than one might expect at first. She will either need to be used alongside other beasts and dragons or one needs to be extra careful with positioning. This also makes it harder to rescue her or place teammates for buffs near her without risking her losing the transformation bonuses.
Mediocre Resistance
The weakest point in Bridal Nailah’s stats is her Resistance, coming in at 25. This can make her susceptible to damage from enemy mages and dragons. Luckily, her Resistance can be boosted quite considerably for defensive builds, particularly with a Resistance Asset. Otherwise, caution will need to be taken when needing to resist attack from magical foes.
