  • With Legendary Fallen Robin's refine and skill upgrade, she now packs a myriad of excellent effects that raise her utility from an Arena score-bot to a genuinely decent unit. She essentially gets +10 to all stats, enemy buff negation, and inflicts guard on her foes, all while retaining an immunity to bows.
  • This doesn't necessarily mean she's the best ever, but it really helps to solidify her role as a jack of all trades. With high Speed, decent Attack, high defensive stats, and no color weakness, she can tank many threats that might otherwise hurt your team and can easily cover any weakness.
  • Dragon Wall in her B slot seems like an odd choice considering her low-ish base Res, but with both of Robin's new skills active and a Res Solo in her seal slot, she easily gets +16 Resistance, while her C slot debuffs her opponent's Resistance by 4. This is more than enough to give her a massive Resistance differential vs most opponents, which grants her sizeable damage reduction into her defensive stats.
  • Similarly, Quick Riposte may seem an odd choice given her high Speed potential, but this allows her to retaliate vs slow opponents who carry Follow-Up Denial. Because fliers cannot inherit Null Follow-Up, Robin needs to settle for this partial follow-up guarantee in order to ensure her damage vs foes who deny her follow-ups.
  • To put it simply, this build turns F Robin into a flying tank who is very difficult to take down without a dragon effective weapon.

  • This build is more typical of a pre-buff Robin build, which focuses on her supportive utility and buffing her Arena companions while debuffing her foes. Thanks to her refine, she's definitely more of a threatening presence on the battlefield, but she can still run a support set while also tanking hits for your team.
  • Dual Rally+ Skills, such as Rally Atk/Spd+, are necessary for high scoring in Arena, and Robin can pair this with skills like Atk Feint or Def Feint to debuff her foes while also buffing her allies to help swing combat for a bonus unit.
  • This also benefits Robin herself, particularly since she neutralizes her foe's buffs, guaranteeing that her debuffs will be effective.
  • Guidance has long been used as a positional tool and can be chosen over her native Spd/Res Rein, but Spd/Res Rein can also be used to help her allies in combat. Guidance will be more useful in armor teams, whereas Spd/Res Rein can help your team to double if they have high Speeds.
  • Lastly, Mystic Boost is there to help make Robin a bit tankier in between Aether activations, but can be replaced with a Solo skill or Def Feint to further debuff her foes with Rallies.

Strengths

Utility

Legendary Robin is a colorless dragon flier with a Distant Counter weapon who neutralizes her own flier weakness via her exclusive A-slot skill. On paper, she already sounds amazing - with very few direct counters and weaknesses, she can provide unmatched utility in a flier composition, as well as great synergy and movement buffs in non-flier compositions. Colorless fliers are still rare and despite her Legendary status, Legendary Robin is owned by many summoners due to the sheer number of reruns she's had.

Balanced Stat Spread

Legendary Robin's stat spread is very balanced, with no immediate dump stat and all of the rest of her stats being decent to middling. While this limits her from minmaxing, it allows her to be a solid all-rounder on her team, which matches her colorless typing.

Refine

Legendary Robin's July 2021 refine for Expiration and Dragonskin gave her tools she desperately needed to stay relevant in the current meta: +10 to all stats, Guard, and neutralizing her foe's buffs. This drastically helps her to keep up and turns her into what she always should have been: a flexible, fast flying tank.

Weaknesses

Dragon vulnerability

Unfortunately, Dragonskin only protects her from weapons that are effective against fliers, and not weapons that are effective against dragons. This means Falchion and Naga users will still tear through Robin's defenses.

No color advantages

Though being the first colorless dragon in the game is an interesting novelty and does give her a neat defensive niche, offensively it isn't doing her any huge favors. While being a colorless unit does spare her from a triangle weakness, it is not particularly difficult to play around, so being denied a triangle advantage for her to abuse herself is probably a bigger loss than gain, particularly when considering her low 32 Attack.
