  • Naturally the strongest option as Veronica’s unique Special has everything that an offensive mage would want with a solid damage boost, low cooldown, and the ability to disable foe’s Guard and damage reduction skills. 

Passive A: Atk/Spd Boosting A Skills 

  • Any skill that greatly boosts Veronica’s offensive stats such as her in-kit Atk/Spd Catch make for a great choice of A slot.

Passive B: S/R Far Trace / Lull Spd/Res / Spd Preempt

  • Trace skills such as Veronica’s native S/R trace offer an in combat debuff on the foe as well as the useful ability to use remaining movement after combat and positioning yourself outside of danger. 
  • Lull Spd/Res offers a similar in combat debuff as well as neutralizing the foe’s buffs at the cost of the canto effect.
  • Spd Preempt allows Veronica to attack first during combat in the Enemy Phase if she outspeeds her opponent. This can make leaving her in enemy range more safe. 

Passive C: Smoke Skills / Feud Skills / Flexible

  • Smoke skills are very effective when taking on multiple opponents. Veronica’s in-kit Panic Smoke 4 is particularly effective by completely debilitating her target and nearby allies while granting allies in cardinal directions an even greater advantage against those affected foes. 
  • Feud skills such as C Feud grant a favorable matchup against the associated color type through a debuff as well as nullifying any of their external skills during combat.
  • The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.

Sacred Seal: Atk/Spd Boosting Seals 

  • With the rest of his kit covering her bases, Veronica wants a Sacred Seal that simply boosts her offensive stats further such as Atk/Spd Solo or Blade Session. 

Strengths

Enclosing Dark

Having a weapon with an easy +6 Atk/Spd is basic. Having a weapon that also easily inflicts -8 Spd/Res on the foe for a total stat swing of 14 to damage and speed is where it’s really at. Let’s not stop there though. Let’s also make sure that the foe cannot prevent follow-up attacks, cannot counterattack, and let’s also add Desperation to immediately have our follow-up attack in case the last point is disabled.

I do not think that this is overkill. 

Enclosure

A low cooldown Special that negates foe’s damage reductions is made nicer when given the anti-Guard effect on top of it. 

Absurd Offensive Stats

With 42 Atk and 45 Spd at base, most units can only sit and watch as Veronica turns them into dust with her insurmountable offensive power.

In addition to superior mobility, Veronica is granted access to an array of cavalry exclusive skills.

There are no tricks here. Veronica has low values in both Def and Res and will easily fold if forced to receive an attack.
