- Any form of offensive Special that checks the foe’s stats makes for a suitable choice in this slot. The most effective option may vary with other forms of Special cooldown acceleration present in this set.
Passive A: Atk/Spd Boosting A Skills / Heavy Blade 4
- Any skill that greatly boosts Cath’s offensive stats including but not limited to Atk/Spd Catch, Push, Solo, or Swift Sparrow make for a great choice of A skill.
- Heavy Blade 4 grants Special cooldown acceleration as well as true damage granted you have higher attack than your foe.
Passive B: Atk/Res Snag / Desperation
- In this irrational world, sometimes the best B slot option you have is a Snag skill that inflicts a debuff on the closest foes after using an assist skill.
- Dial the clock back to a time where Desperation’s ability to enable an immediate follow-up attack when the unit's HP is below 75% was the ideal B slot skill for most offensive units.
Passive C: Smoke Skills / Feud Skills / Flexible
- Smoke skills such as Pulse Smoke are very effective when taking on multiple opponents. Pulse Smoke is particularly effective in reducing the damage of opponents around the target after combat by slowing down the activation of their Special.
- Feud skills such as Cath’s native Blue Feud grant a favorable matchup against the associated color type through a debuff as well as nullifying any of their external skills during combat.
- The C slot can otherwise be replaced as needed to suit the team.
Sacred Seal: Atk/Spd Boosting Seals / Heavy Blade
- With the rest of her kit covering the bases, Cath wants a Sacred Seal that simply boosts her Atk/Spd further such as Atk/Spd Solo or Blade Session.
- If not already being used in the A slot, Heavy Blade also makes for an effective Sacred Seal option.
Strengths
Lofty Leaflet
In addition to the array of offensive power this weapon provides through the boosted stats and true damage, Lofty Leaflet grants Cath a very unique type of movement after performing an action that allows her to warp to a space within 3 rows and columns centered on her.
Fantastic Offensive Stats
An impressive 37 Atk and 43 Spd is more than enough to have a strong offensive presence.

In addition to superior mobility, Cath is granted access to an array of cavalry exclusive skills.
Weaknesses
Low bulk
With both Def and Res sitting at values well below 30, you would be advised against leaving Cath unprotected in enemy range.
No actual good B slot options
No, seriously. Cath’s weapon obsoletes both Lull skills and Trace skills and is missing the Null Follow-Up to run sweep skills. You’re digging through the bargain bin just to find something that fits.
