  • Annette’s Three Hopes incarnation joins Fire Emblem Heroes as an extremely solid Bow Armor with a great statline, and her class type gives her access to some fantastic skill lines: Notably access to Save skills and Fighter skills.
  • Using a Unity skill in conjunction with Crafty Fighter grants Annette guaranteed follow-up attacks while giving her a form of debuff protection and the Guard effect. Utilizing Mirror Stance 3 with Slick Fighter will grant her similar benefits, although Slick Fighter neutralizes penalties, as opposed to Unity converting them to buffs. Distant Def 4 or Wily Fighter can be used if one desires to negate a foe’s buffs, but Annette will have to give up either the Guard effect or penalty neutralization in the process.
  • A Far Save skill is required for this build as it renders allies unable to be attacked by ranged units, who are instead forced into combat with Annette: She also gets a decent stat boost when the Save skill triggers. The specific Save skill isn’t terribly relevant, and Far Save skill of any kind will do.
  • Mystic Boost gives Annette some helpful extra healing, but otherwise she can make good use of stat boosting sacred seals such as Distant Def or Mirror Stance to further bolster her Enemy Phase prowess.

Strengths

Statline

Even among newer units, Annette’s statline is quite spectacular boasting fantastic stats across the board aside from Speed, which can be compensated for somewhat thanks to Armored units possessing many means of performing guaranteed follow-up attacks.
 

Armored

Annette’s Armored status gives her access to a plethora of great skills, most notably the Fighter skills and Saves.

Weaknesses

Poor Speed/Armored Effective Damage

Annette’s poor Speed means that her matchups against speedy units making use of damage reduction skills become problematic as they will have no trouble obtaining their full damage reduction against her, and Null Follow-Up will also give her a fair amount of trouble. Armor-effective weaponry such as Micaiah’s Thani can also easily ruin her day given the chance, although her incredible defenses mean she has a good chance of tanking at least one effective damage hit.
