- This build is suitable for busting tanks, particularly if utilized on Aether Raids Defense. However, it's still good for general purpose, and with some tweaking, we can make her kit synergize better with her role and overall less-niche.
- Firstly - for a unit who is reliant on Speed to make a high +10 Speed check over her opponent and trigger the optimal effect of her prf, Lysithea needs all the Speed she can get. This means replacing her B slot with a skill that reduces her opponent's Speed, like Lull Spd/Res or S/R Far Trace. For summoners on a budget, her native A/R Far Trace is serviceable, though not optimal.
- After that, it's more of a matter of summoner preference. Moonbow or Ruptured Sky depends on your choice of target - in most content it won't matter, but when fighting someone like Fallen Edelgard, proccing Ruptured Sky could make the difference in defeating her or not - but that's the only place where the distinction would matter.
- Additionally, using Quickened Pulse in the seal slot is a drastic reduction in damage, as you lose the additional +6 damage per hit (and potentially 6 Speed) from initiation when compared with Atk/Spd Solo, but it's also the only way that Lysithea can proc a Special vs an opponent who has a Guard effect.
- In general, Atk/Spd Solo in the seal is always going to be the better option, except - again - when using Ruptured Sky vs an opponent like Fallen Edelgard or a stacked Caineghis. Ruptured Sky vs an unmerged Fallen Edelgard should add roughly 16 damage in the initial hit, whereas both brave hits from an Atk/Spd Solo boosted Lysithea would hit for a total of 10 additional damage.
- Is that worth the big inherit and the loss of damage in most other contexts? Probably not, but it is more optimal in this common scenario.
- Finally, we have C Feud or Rouse Atk/Spd. In an AR-D context, C Feud is better, no question - but in a player-controlled context, it gets a bit trickier. Most of the time, the AI will not use colorless supports correctly, making C Feud only worthwhile to get the additional stat debuffs vs colorless units. However, when using Rouse Atk/Spd, Lysithea can pair the natural buffs from that with her harmonic skill, which grants her Bonus Doubler, doubling the effects of the buff. This adds a total of +12 Spd and Atk and will absolutely swing fights her way vs more opponents - but it's only during the turn when both the Harmonic skill and Rouse Atk/Spd are both active.
Strengths
Tankbuster 3000
L00tsythia's Yule Log weapon is remarkably good at tank busting and functions very well against slower tank units by capitalizing on a Desperation or Brave effect, depending on how much higher their Speed is than their foes'.
Additionally, being a colorless tome means that they don't have to worry about color weaknesses. While other tankbusters such as Duo Lif and Selena have to worry about weapon triangle advantages and are subsequently hard countered by units such as Brave Hector or Ascended Fjorm, Harmonic Lysithea only has to worry about tanks like Young Lyon who have a WTA vs colorless units.
Furthermore, their base kit has the new skill C Feud skill, which disables colorless support skills. This counters popular tanking strategies with units like Flayn, Kinshi Hinoka, and Duo Hilda, making tanks much easier to take down without their key supports.
Weaknesses
Tankbusting Requires More Tools
Without a skill that nullfies Guard, those two tanks will also deny Lute-sythia from triggering their special, reducing their damage.
Secondly, with no way to cut through damage mitigation, the pair's damage is countered further by damage reduction skills such as Fallen Edelgard's B skill, Brave Edelgard's B skill, and Brave Dimitri's B skill
Speed-Reliant
The pair are also overly-reliant on a Speed stat which... isn't really that great? 40 Speed is nice, but for an effect which requires the duo to be ten Speed above their opponent, they'll find it difficult to get the secondary use of their prf toward many of the Speed-leaning units who have released in the past year.
Harmonized Skill
Grants Atk+6,【Resonance: Blades】, and 【Bonus Doubler】to unit and allies from the same titles as unit for 1 turn.
