  • Est has a unique utility in negating debuffs which, when combined with her high Attack, allows her to work excellently as a Vantage Sweeper. She will not be affected by a Chill Attack debuff, despite her Superboon 42 Attack, which grants her unique ability as a ranged Vantage sweeper.
  • Note that just because she cannot be debuffed does not mean that Panic cannot affect her. Panic will neutralize Est's visible buffs, though she will negate the corresponding debuff, leaving her at her base stats.
  • This build relies on countersweeping the enemy team with oneshots during the Enemy Phase. A +Atk Spring Est has an effective Attack of 71 when in Vantage range, and more if her ally has Drive buffs.
  • Because she needs an ally within 2 spaces for her prf to work, it's generally recommended to set Est up with a support who can offer her large attack buffs via Drives, Goads, and their prf - such as Camilla.

  • Eagle's Egg is a very powerful tool which increases all of Est's stats by 5 and negates debuffs. This makes her a fantastic choice for a main offensive unit, though her middling Speed has to be mended somewhat.
  • Therefore, Swift Sparrow is the ideal A slot for her, as it grants her a larger buff to the stats she needs most while not forcing her to take the heavy 8 HP recoil damage of Fury 4.
  • Sturdy Impact is also a unique choice which will further increase Est's tankiness. With her prf and Sturdy Impact, Est reaches 31 Defense on initiation and negates opponent's follow-up attacks, making her very difficult to defeat in retaliation. Summoners should consider taking a HP bane instead if running this skill.
  • Desperation has synergy with Fury but is also a good choice if Est takes too much damage.
  • Her C slot is very flexible and is best used to give herself buffs, particularly to valuable stats such as Speed or Attack.

Strengths

Neutralizes Penalties

One of the biggest issues in modes like Aether Raids and Arena is the fact that debuff skills are so plentiful. Thanks to Est's prf, she can neutralize stat penalties on herself while increasing all of her own stats, just by having an ally closeby.

Stat Stacking

Spring Est has a decent statline for stat stacking, or increasing all of her stats to make her an excellent all-rounder. Her base kit exemplifies this by granting her +9 to all stats.

Weaknesses

Middling Speed Tier

Despite Est's fantastic prf, her default Speed is still 35. While this can be improved by utilizing her prf and getting a Speed boon, it still makes her vulnerable to fast units and puts her at risk if she can't oneshot an opponent.

Reliant on Prf's Restrictions

Spring Est is reliant on her prf's restrictions to perform well, namely that she has to have an ally within two spaces for it to do anything at all. This isn't a particularly difficult restriction but still makes her powerless in comps that utilize Smite or Dance to send a unit far away for an attack.
