Passive A: Atk/Spd Solo / Atk/Spd Push / Swift Sparrow
Passive B: Lull Spd/Def
Passive C: Rouse Atk/Spd / Spd Smoke
Seal: Heavy Blade / Atk/Spd Solo
- Kaden will always want to focus his Speed by any means necessary - not only is it on the cusp of being competitive with speedsters such as Summer Ingrid, but Kaden gets additional free damage the higher his Speed is in relation to his opponents' through his prf, Refreshed Fang.
- The two best offensive options for him are a Galeforce build or a straightforward offensive build with a Special like Moonbow.
- Galeforce is admittedly difficult to utilize since he relies on Heavy Blade in his seal slot and has no other cooldown mitigation available to him as a cavalry unit. However, when it works, it's very effective and can allow Kaden to eliminate two foes per turn.
- Moonbow is more simple, but allows him to run a different Seal slot (such as Atk/Spd Solo) to further increase his damage and Speed.
Strengths
Accessible Cavalry Beast
- At a four star availability, Kaden sports an accessibility that is very rare for his unit type, allowing players to obtain him fairly easily.
- He is the only red beast at four star availability, and he sports the highest Base Stat Total among red beasts at the time of his release, with 168.
Good Base Stats + PRF
- Kaden has a respectable base Speed of 39 and Attack of 35. With his Refreshing Fang granting him a dramatic Speed swing in his favor, inflicting true damage, and giving him the same Atk/Def+4 and follow-up denial as is customary, he has a very strong base to work from.
- He also comes with a Speed Wave skill, which aren't really the best anymore but is still a nice freebie slot for a low-investment build.
Weaknesses
Poor Base Kit
- Snag skills are... not really relevant in the meta and Kaden's own Atk/Def Snag doesn't even help him get more Speed for his prf or for doubling. With 39 base Speed, Kaden is good for a F2P unit, but only average for an actual fast unit in the meta and he needs all the help he can get. Due to the awkward requirements of Snag, this will likely need to be replaced.
- Speed Wave is good, but not really relevant anymore when skills such as Pulse Smoke and Rouse skills exist
