Unit suggestion: Nergal, the Dark Druid

'Sup, guys. I'm back with another suggestion for a potential unit, this time at the request of user "Rosemary."

Nergal - Dark Druid
Infantry

HP: 35
ATK: 31
SPD: 25
DEF: 29
RES: 30

BST: 150

[WEAPON]: Ereshkigal (R.Tome, unique)
Might: 14. HP +3. If unit receives consecutive attacks from a foe using a sword, lance, or axe, damage from second attack onward reduced by 50%.
[SUPPORT]:
[ACTIVE]: Vengeance
Grants bonus to damage dealt equal to 50% of damage suffered.
[A]: Close Counter
Enables unit to counterattack regardless of distance to attacker.
[B]:
[C]: Anathema
Inflicts DEF/RES -3 on foes within 2 spaces during combat.

I've never played Blazing Blade, so I can't really come up with some clever character overview or touch on his lore. Basically, as the primary villain for Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector, I envisioned him being a bulky mage that is capable of tanking and countering popular CQC units, as my understanding is that he is, canonically, difficult to take down by physical means.

Ability Reasoning:
Ereshkigal
Nergal's named tome, naturally he would have it. Canonically, it has no special effects. Requester suggested giving it a variant of Crusader's Ward while also making him Armored with Wary Fighter. This would contradict the tome's effect, since the ward requires consecutive attacks and Wary Fighter would negate this. Instead, given his role as Eliwood, Hector, and Lyn's enemy, I figured that a Deflect Melee 2 effect would be more appropriate to fill the role of his effect.

Vengeance
Similar to the situation with Gharnef, I used some of Nergal's Einherjar abilities from Awakening, since he has none of his own. Filling the role of a bulky dark mage, Vengeance seems to fit.

Close Counter
I designed Nergal picturing a counter-oriented mage focused more on countering popular close-range Heroes. To that effect, I offered him Close Counter to fit that role, since it also works in tandem with Ereshkigal.

Anathema
An ability I drafted for Gangrel, and another one I borrowed from his Einherjar. Basically, it acts as a Threaten version of the Spur abilities.

Personally I think this is a really reasonable character!
Reasonable stat distribution, reasonable prf Tome; Close Counter could be a bit over the top considering villains usually come out as GHBs.
The only thing I don't really see IS doing anytime soon is Anathema-like skills. Debuffing as a real Penalty (aka Ploy/Threaten debuffs) is one thing because technically you COULD revert them into buffs with harsh command/ Sacrifice and they directly affect Blade Tomes. But Spur effects have become the focus of IS recently (considering Drive skills, Brazen skills, B!Lucina, etc.) so I don't really think that they want Debuffing Spurs in their meta anytime soon.

It looks lovely! Thank you for taking the time to do this. With the stat distribution, he is neither overpowered or underpowered. I feel he could make a good GHB unit once IS is more comfortable with giving more rare skills to F2P units.
