Hero Build Overview/Explanation

This build is aimed at the ones who Summoner Support and +10 merge Robin to give him as much stats as possible, as Robin is one of the few units who benefit from a boost in practically every stat. The boon is Speed, though Attack can work well enough, and while I've listed Resistance as the bane, the build assumes that you are spending every resource available to him including merges that cancel it out, so it does not really matter what bane you pick in the end.

Adding merges upon Summoner Support gives M!Robin a healthy 49/35/38/35/28 loadout which makes him extremely versatile. Adding Dragonflowers on top of that grants him a 51/37/40/37/30 stat loadout which gives a good statline to take advantage of to take care of a good number of red, colorless, and even some weaker blue foes. At 40 speed, Robin has a good enough Speed to avoid the majority of doubles with some help, and with his prf tome, he totes 51/40 offenses which is enough to kill or severely cripple fragile or slow red and colorless units, and 51/37/30 defenses gives him essentially 88/81 physical/magical defenses makes him more durable than at first glance, especially with some buffs to raise them even further and his already high enough Speed to help him avoid doubles. If blessed with a blessing for AR, 51 HP alongside two appropriate Mythic units also gives him just enough HP to avoid the max HP range for Panic Manor, which means you can buff him and keep him in range of opponent Manors.

Tactical Bolt is picked to cement Robin's role as a red and colorless check. Ideally, you go with its refined effect and put Robin among a team of units whose movement type is less than two so that the field buffs it provides is always active when they are in range of Robin. It is possible to go with the +Spd refine instead to open the build up for infantry teams and to further boost Robin's HP and Speed to increase effectiveness of Panic Ploy and increase his doubling range/decrease the range where he gets doubled, but a mixed movement type team is where Robin performs best, and the option to put another infantry ally alongside Robin without compromising his tome's effect is always available. Robin is essentially able to bait red, colorless, and some blue enemies, as well as initiating on them due to the much higher than usual stats.

Aether is picked to give Robin a special that both damages and heals him when activated. Alternatively, Moonbow for it's fast proc. rate is always nice for Robins who wish to go on a more offensive bent, and due to his high Defence, Bonfire and Ignis also work well for consistent, high damage.

Close Counter is a key skill for this build. With Close Counter, Robin now threatens sword and colorless beast users who faces the threat of a counterattack unless they have a Firesweep weapon. low Resistance lance users must also be wary of Close Counter unless their Attack is high enough or they wield the Firesweep Lance.

Panic Ploy is one of the key skills on this build. Whether you put it in the C Slot or the Seal Slot, turning an enemy's field buffs into stat penalties goes a long way to make Robin's offense threatening and his defenses insurmountable, as well as helping out any other offensive units you have on your team. If Panic Ploy is in the C-Slot, Robin can opt to go for Close or Distant Def in his Seal Slot to make him even more resistant to damage. If Panic Ploy is in the Seal Slot, Robin can opt for either Infantry Breath or Infantry Hexblade to further boost infantry allies. Whether you put Panic Ploy in the C-Slot or use the seal, you are still able to run it alongside in-combat boosters like Drives, Spurs, and skills like Distant Guard.

The B-Skill picked depends on what you want to further do with him. Null C-Disrupt stops effects that prevent counterattacks, allowing Robin to threaten Firesweep and Dazzling Staff users, while Mystic Boost allows him a method to heal himself outside of staves and specials which will increase the effectiveness of Panic Ploy over longer battles as well as trivializing (but not countering) the damage of staff users as well as Felicias toting their refined effect. Lull Atk/Res from the upcoming Kiria can also be a consideration, essentially forcing the enemy to use their unboosted Atk/Res with a 3-stat penalty to each, essentially giving Robin a +3 advantage to Atk/Def/Res against any enemy, but the advantages of Null C-Disrupt and Mystic Boost will generally be a better fit for Robin. On a budget, Quick Riposte will suffice due to Robin's HP range granting him an increased range on this skill.

The Assist skill used for the build is flexible. Pick the Assist that suits your team best.
