Hero Build Overview/Explanation

With the newly added skill of distant ward, Roy finally fixes his biggest weakness: his lack to run a distant counter set and defensive melee fighter/enemy phase set ( either with Warding or Steady breath.) With Distant Ward granting a bonus of +5 def/res and allowing him to counter mages it perfectly combines with the +4 def/res granted by the Binding Blade to boost his defenses to a possible 34 def and 37 res. While not too shabby combining it with the def/res bond seal three you'll have a powerful tank that has great match-up against almost anything. With The Quick Riposte 2 effect granted by his refine and vantage active with Moonbow ( can also be replaced with either for a greater synergy but the high countdown can make it less reliable and glimmer might not deal much damage due to his middling attack) he could effectively deal damage before the enemy's attack combined with his low countdown and dragon effectiveness he could potentially be one of he deadliest unit in game. Attack Smoke also helps this tanky build reducing the attack of any other unit wanting to attack a staggering -7 atk. His rarity as a 3-4 star hero also makes him a low merging process and can fix unwanted flaws quickly.
