Both this site and another haven't capitalized on the fact that Claude's weapon has a Null Follow-up effect so long as he's above 25% HP. Don't get me wrong, Fallen Star is a great skill, in some cases better because of its Gravity effect to adjacent foes. So that might get the nod for Aether Raids Offense, but it most other situations it's better to use Windsweep and get 0 damage instead of 20% damage.
If Claude is attacking next to his allies, switch the seal for swift sparrow. He'll need some extra punch against magic foes, since they can retaliate. With his slaying effect in Failnaught it makes Deadeye a feasible option (combat-wise at least, maybe not inheritance-wise). Ruptured Sky has one less cooldown but is also hard to come by. In many cases Moonbow will do the job.
