Hero Build Overview/Explanation
A deck that my Katarina runs for some reason. It is dedicated to Rallies and other Joint Hones. Just like any other standard Katarina build, she likes to have her allies close to her. Yes, this deck is dedicated to her allies being close to her - the more the merrier.
Blade Tome Weapon is pretty self explanatory - It straight up Nukes everything.
Reciprocal Aid - Katarina may not have much HP, but a Reciprocal Aid can keep an Offensive Hero in the fight while allowing her to trigger Desperation.
Dragon Fang - A great Special with a pitiful cooldown, made worse by Blade Tome's Cooldown. I chose this Special because bigger means better.
Bonus Doubler 3 - Well, I managed to snag a Lyon, so it immediately went onto my Katarina. Bonus Doubler doubles your rally bonuses, and all these bonuses go into your Blade Tome attack... Joint Bonuses are also thrown into the formula, making you a destructive Nuke. Nuff said.
Desperation 3 - My Katarina has a Speed Asset rather than an Attack Asset, but a stellar speed stat means she can out speed quite a few heroes. Desperation ensures that any hero who survives her first blast has to endure a second before they have a chance to attack. (That's if they're still alive).
Spd Ploy 3- Pretty straightforward Speed reduction. Katarina can double a fair bit of the meta game, but a speed reduction will certainly help her with doubling more reliably. (I don't actually use this... see below).
Heavy Blade 3 - With a pitiful Special CD, Katarina has no choice but to sack off some bonuses in order to decrease her CD trigger via Heavy Blade. It also ensures Guard Users have to remain wary of Katarina.
Personal Choice:
Joint Drive Spd. I prefer Joint Drive Spd to Spd Ploy 3 as it allows me to double more reliably, but also serves as a reminder for me to position my Katarina near other heroes where she can receive buffs from other heroes' Drive and Hone Skills.
