Wondering about what’s coming in the next big FEH update? On Tuesday August 27th, an in-game notification gave details on what’s in store for version 3.9.0 which is planned to drop in early September. The update (and a few tweets on the official Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter feed) outlined what to expect – a new feature called Heroes’ Path, changes to Aether Raids, new Weapon Refines, and additions to the Grail Store.
Heroes' Path
Easily the star of this update, Heroes’ Path is a new feature that is primarily geared towards novice Summoners. These directed quests are divided by rank, and offer free 5★ Heroes for completion rewards. These Heroes are listed below:
Reinhardt: Thunder’s Fist will be awarded for completing Rank 1 quests, Ninian: Oracle of Destiny for Rank 5, Eirika: Anamnesis Lady for Rank 10, and Ike: Brave Mercenary for Rank 15. 32 Orbs will also be awarded for clearing all the Heroes’ Path quests, so even Summoners who aren’t thrilled by the free Hero rewards have a reason to join in.

Aether Raids Changes
Aether Raiders, rejoice! Fans of this mode can expect some notable QOL changes in this update, including:

You will be able to spend twice the Aether to earn twice the Lift when attacking. When you do this, you will also restore twice the Aether when destroying a foe’s Aether Pots or Aether Fountain.

The Healing Tower (O/D) will have its level cap increased to 5. The Escape Ladder (O) will have its level cap increased to 4.

Up to 11 Heroes will be able to be invited to the Aether Resort.

3 new songs will be added to the Concert Hall.
Once version 3.9.0 is released, players who have not yet updated who are attacked in AR by players using version 3.9.0 will not be able to view Defense replays of those battles. If you’re a fan of watching your replays, try to update as soon as you can.
New Weapon Refines
The complete first batch of Brave Heroes – Brave Roy, Brave Lucina, Brave Ike, and Brave Lyn (plus Eliwood) – are also receiving new Weapon Refines! There’s no details on what these refines will entail yet, but be sure to check their Gamepress Unit Analysis closely after version 3.9.0’s release if you’d like to learn more.
Heroic Grail Summoning Additions
Finally, these two additions will be made to the Grail shop.
Whether you missed them in their initial run, need some new Skill fodder, or are looking for a new Grail merge project, it’s worth at least giving them a look.
