GamePress: A Year in Review

GamePress Year in Review

The month of October marks the first year anniversary of GamePress. It's been a fun, tumultuous year, and we’ve loved every bit of it.  GamePress started as a side project when Pokemon GO was initially released and has since grown to cover multiple mobile games titles including Fire Emblem Heroes, Shadowverse, and Fate Grand Order.  We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone as we wouldn’t be here today without the help and support of the community and of course, the GamePress team.  Cheers to many more years ahead!

Future Plans

Up to this point, we didn't really put too much effort towards our main site, https://gamepress.gg/.  We hope to change that this year and would greatly appreciate it if everyone could take the survey below to help us figure out what type of content we should focus on.

The following ideas below are new things we want to try out. They may work out or fail.  No matter what happens, we will continue to provide high-quality content on all existing and new games that we cover.

Mobile Game Database + Reviews

We plan to build a game database of mobile games and rank them based on a certain set of criteria. We hope this database helps new and existing gamers find out which games they might enjoy playing.

GamePress News

We also hope to do more general news pieces such as interviews with game developers or journalistic posts.  We want to produce high-quality unique content that readers would only find at GamePress.

Timeline

We plan to begin releasing content on the main GamePress.GG site starting this week so please come check it out and provide feedback.

Conclusion

That about wraps it up for year one!  We hope to make year two even better.  Hopefully, you have a better idea of what to expect in the future and continue to support us in everything that we do :)

Thanks,

-Nick Winters
