  • What do you need to exchange for this Part? We include the details
  • The best of the best – a list of all available Power A Skills and where they come from
  • What if you have great Parts? What’s next?

Hey again Pilots!  Quite a few members of the GBGW community have been requesting some ideas for what Part they should be looking to choose at the end of this Premium Material Campaign.  We’re coming into the final stretch, as the Exchange Store opens on the 29th of this month, after the GP01/GP02A Banner closes, and we hopefully move into an insane Sokai Festival.  Now is the best time for this comprehensive list of parts you’ll want to consider, as this banner is the final banner being added to the standard pool before the Exchange Shop appears.  It’s important to note that you cannot choose any Sokai or Limited/Event part as your Part Selection.

You’ll need all 8 [001] Premium Materials that we’ve been able to collect throughout the month, with the final 2 coming in the week starting on the 29th.  You’ll get the first from a specified number of Event Mission completions (no Skip Tickets), and the second given to you for the third consecutive day of logins for the week.

This is all provided that you’re not trading 6 of these Materials for the Sanakapool Token, of course, which awards you with a full 3* spread of the Sanakapool Gunpla featured in the new Story Chapter.

Power "A" Skills

There’s only a few of these EX Skills in the game at this current point in time, and if you don’t have any, you are likely going to want to pick one of these and go for broke.

These are something I’m just gonna call “The Big Bads”.  These are Pierce D, Power A, 120 second cooldown abilities that pack such an extreme punch; they’re what you want to be using primarily for your best Gunplas, and the ideal skills for overkills in Arena matches.  If you have none of these?  Take one that fits your build.  If you have two, maybe you should consider either taking a third that you don’t have, or skip these Parts entirely.  Having two is already a great deal and excellent versatility or selection, and you may even have either the Justice Back or Freedom Legs, which carry similar abilities but cannot be selected here.  Every player is going to want at least one of these, and every player should definitely be considering if they’re in need.  I personally don’t feel you want to go overboard and try to collect all of these as immediately as you can, but having a good selection of them to spread across your builds can make for an extremely potent team setup.  Beyond that, they are simply the must-have abilities.

One thing to really note, however, is that the Shining Finger Sword EX Skill is unlike the others in that it is available the first time in a match earlier, and actually boasts a Pierce C value.   However, this is one of these attacks that do not have a hit confirm, which locks the opponent in the attack animation and ensures maximum damage.  There’s a trick to this, though, because you can intentionally miss with the Shining Finger Sword’s first two hits, land the third hit, and pull off a massive overkill value much earlier in an Arena fight, boosting your Assessment rating.  Very tricky, but very insane.

STAPLE/NOTABLE PARTS

The parts in this section are going to vary significantly, and are not going to follow a similar trend of Power.  These are parts that you’re going to want to support things like Bisect and the like, or are just extremely potent options for certain builds or content.

EDIT: Victory Saber should read "With Technique Attribute" not "With Rifle Category Equipped". Terribly sorry for the error!

As you can see, this list ranges all over the place.  The only similar thing these parts have in common is that they all do something to compliment the core of a build, or enhance that.  There are some things to note, such as there is an alternative to Shenlong Back in Duel Gundam (Assault Chest).

The list had to be simplified as above, because there are a very large amount of Parts that can be considered under this standard.  I’ll try to shed as much light as I can, though.

Exia arms and Barbatos arms both boast staggering attack stats, with Exia winning in raw parameters (3100+ with a solid EX skill!), but under certain conditions the Barbatos Arms can be superior (though Barb has a base value of 2700+).  If you want to try and maximize your melee Gunpla’s max attack value, one of these two can really help.

Pale Rider Shield, Shenlong Back, and X Divider Head all boast extremely powerful buffs that affect your whole team at the same time.  Offense Up provides a healthy dose of melee and shot attack, while Shock Bringer “brings the pain” by enabling your whole team to easily stun and stagger every opponent, and Armed Aura will turn each of your team members into Master Grade-class units, trucking through hit after hit.  Dynames Back is also an Awakening Skill, except this one will provide a shot damage increase along with a healthy dose of speed. Definitely not to be overlooked.

Shining Chest and Pale Rider Head are Parts in a similar nature, both providing a raw damage and speed increase for an Awakening EX Skill, which will stack with Buff EX Skills, but not with other Awakening EX Skills. This is a boon for Arena to maintain a steady rate of extreme overkill damage.

GN Sniper Rifle is one of the highest shot attack Rifles in the game, currently, resting comfortably around 4,000 shot attack.  The Part Trait also enables this Rifle to really hold its own and not be limited by a slow reload time.  Due to the high attack, it’s considered a staple of many ranged builds. Following the 4,000 attack trend, the Atomic Bazooka is a monster of a weapon with an extremely wide radius EX Skill that is going to make 3v3 Arena extremely unfair .  Lastly, the Victory Beam Saber has the same values of attack as these, with a great addition of 10% extra Crit rate to strong melee attacks if your Gunpla is a Technique Attribute.  All three of these weapons can be major factors for any build.

Astray Red Frame Arms, Sengoku Astray Arms, and Sengoku Astray Back all provide similar strengths in that they are all very high damage modifier Physical Melee EX Skills that both have a short cooldown, and short initial cooldown.  They are perfect for fast, high damage hits and are able to keep additional mobs under control in tight situations.  Special mention to Red Frame Arms that carry the Protag and Close Combat Word Tags!

I couldn't go over everything here, as there just wasn't going to be reasonably enough space, but I hope that this has helped you come to a decision you're happy with at the end of the month!
