Clear Steps

Another fairly straightforward map, although this time we do make a slight detour to resupply along the way. Enemies here remain fairly weak, and can be shot down without trouble.

Turn 1

1.1

Deploy a Combat Echelon on the Command Post. Move right one node, then deploy a Dummy Echelon on the Command Post for movement points.

Turn 2

2.1

Move your Combat Echelon right one node, down once, then right again to capture the Heliport.

Turn 3

3.1

Resupply and repair your Combat Echelon if needed before moving right, up, right and then down.

Turn 4

4.1

Move your Combat Echelon right and up onto the Command Post to capture it and finish the map.

Hidden Boss: Fail

From this map onwards, each stage in Glory Day will contain an optional Boss version of Fail somewhere on the map. The fight is completely optional and isn’t required for map clears, but each fight is tied to a unique easter egg minigame and players are encouraged to try it if they have time to get the full experience of this DJMax Respect collaboration event.

Players can defeat Fail only if they have Clear in their echelon; if Clear is not present, Fail takes no damage

Despite Fail’s monstrous CE of 46800, she can be taken down with a typical Level 30+ 3x Echelon with some losses. As long as Clear is present at the start of the fight, Fail’s force shield will be removed - even if Clear dies during the fight, it’s still winnable.

Once Fail is defeated, one of the unreachable enemy echelons will turn into an allied echelon and initiate a rhythm minigame vs. K2 after the end of your turn on the allied echelon phase.

Rhythm Game vs. K2

Theme: Ask to Wind by Forte Escape

The rhythm game is fairly standard - tap the skill icons as the falling bars reach them. Misclicks and missed taps will deal 5 damage to your units (who have 500-1000 HP each - losing all HP results in a loss.)

It is highly recommended to try this minigame on a real phone or use keybinds if playing on an Android emulator is unavoidable - sometimes multiple bars appear simultaneously and it is virtually impossible to click both with a mouse.
