Clear Steps
Similar to the non-EX version, we only need to make a quick circle around to the Command Post. Unlike EX1-2, a taunt fairy cannot safely carry an RFHG echelon all the way to enemy HQ due to two spawns that have enough damage to instantly kill a Taunt Fairy at the start of battle. An ARSMG or MGSG echelon is therefore highly recommended.
Turn 1

Deploy your primary Combat Echelon on the Command Post, then move right one node before deploying the HQ defense Combat Echelon on the Command Post.
Turn 2

Move the first Combat Echelon right twice, then down onto the enemy Heliport.
Once you end your turn, an enemy Vespid group containing a Jaguar (mortar) will run into you - make sure to retreat the DPS that is targeted to avoid losing links.
Turn 3

Move your Combat Echelon as far left as possible towards the Command Post.
If your echelon is too weak to handle the Striker node along the way, you can wait a turn for it to run into your HQ and it will be replaced by a slightly weaker (but still very threatening) Ripper/Vespid node.
The enemy Dragoon on the Command Post will run into your echelon this turn, leaving HQ free to capture on Turn 4.
Turn 4

Capture the Command Post to complete the mission.
