Cooldown: 3 turns

Overview

Auspicious Fairy (called the Mickey Mouse Fairy by some players), is the ranking reward of Polarized Light.

Her appearance is that of a Mouse a Chinese New Year dress, because Polarized Light took place when CN was entering the year of the Rat.

Her skill, Friendly Exchange Of Gifts, may look strange at the first sight, but is in fact pretty straightforward. Both you and the enemy can eat the “peach” that she places on an unoccupied node.

  • If the enemy eats it, they gain damage reduction for a short amount of time.
  • If an allied echelon eats it, the movespeed of your dolls is increased.

As with most fairies, you’d want a Damage I/II or Fervor talent.

Unfortunately, Auspicious Fairy isn’t as versatile as the previous ranking’s fairy: Beach Fairy. The skill is RNG and doesn't tend to offer a tangible benefit in battle. Her strong Evasion Aura does improve your survivability somewhat, but for ARSMG teams a Shield Fairy (whose skill gives a shield instead of a useless movespeed buff) tends to be the more sensible choice when reducing damage taken is important.

Strengths

+ Strong Evasion and Accuracy

With 88% evasion buff and 66% accuracy buff, Auspicious is one of the fairies with the strongest aura in these two stats.

+ Initial D

Auspicious fairy can give you a lot of fun when you use it for meme purposes, especially with Calico mod2+, Hanyang mod2+ and P30.

+ Cheap enhancement

Due to her being an “extra” Fairy, Auspicious Fairy needs only 550 exp in total instead of 3000, making her cheaper to maximize.

Weaknesses

- Short durations

While her buff is 10 seconds at SL10, which is fine, her debuffs last only 5 seconds, and doesn’t scale on skill level. If it was scaling, it could easily be a strength, but unfortunately for this fairy, it isn’t the case.

- Long cooldown

“There are fairies with longer cooldowns than 3 turns, like Parachute !” you’d say. But why is it counted as a weakness here ? Well, while Parachute gives you insane map control with her skill, other fairies with the same behaviour have shorter cooldowns, like Suee for example. But Suee can actually allow you to kill strong enemies to make it worth it. That is not the case with Auspicious, who’s kinda killed there because of the short duration of her debuff and the lack of interest in a movespeed buff.

- Event Fairy

Auspicious Fairy was the Polarized Light ranking reward, and won’t be obtainable until said event’s rankings maps get a rerun.
