Mission and Clear Conditions:
Rescue Hostage (Main Route)
Survive 5 Turns (Side Route)
2 Combat Echelons Level 90 5x Linked
1 Dummy Echelon
Unlike the previous map, this one is more mechanically involved, featuring AA towers, a hostage rescue, using specific nodes to remove enemies from the map, and converting enemy units into friendly ones. Oh, and a solid helping of damaging nodes to round things out. The nodes marked with Yellow Skulls will damage your Echelons if you end your turn on them, up to and including killing Dolls completely. Do not end a turn on these. Luckily, despite the mechanical density, the map is fairly straight forward, and unless venturing off the beaten path, more or less solves itself.
Stepping on the Radar node in the center of the map causes two KCCO Cyclops to become ‘friendly’ and able to be controlled like Friend Echelons. Stepping onto any of the One Time Supply Nodes will cause a pair of Hydras on one of three locations to be removed, allowing for access to the Heliports needed to complete the hostage rescue. Do not attempt to brute force these Hydras, that 100k CE is not a joke.
Deploy Combat Echelons on the Command Post and the right Heliport. A Dummy Echelon should go on the bottom Heliport.
Move the Combat Echelon on the Command Post up one node to rescue the hostage.
Hostage in hand, move up one node, right one node, up again to set on the Radar, and then up a final time to the one time supply node. Resupply now.
Move the Combat Echelon back down one node onto the Radar once again.
The uppermost One Time Supply Node removes the lower right pair of Hydras, so we’ll be taking that path.
Move your Combat Echelon right five nodes onto the Heliport.
Move the lower Combat Echelon left onto the Command Post to prevent it being captured.
Survive 5 Turns
Deploy a Combat Echelon on the Heliport and the Command Post. End your turn repeatedly until the map ends. (The example rescues the hostage, but this isn't required).
