Clear Steps

The Far Side of the Sea Event wastes no time throwing everyone into the deep end of enemies from the Shattered Connection Event. The small sentient melons are Pathfinders. Small, annoying little guys. Apply ARs, and be confused about how bullets not only slice, but also dice them into bits. The little crabs are Dactyls, first seen in Singularity. Again, ARs will put them down without any significant issues. If the Command Post squad is struggling, you can add an Rf to the backline to handle that Ceryntis enemy. 

Turn 1

1.1

 

Deploy a Combat Echelon on both the Heliport and the Command Post. 

1.2

Move the Combat Echelon on the Heliport up-right to fight the Pathfinder-Melons, then up-left onto the Heliport. 

1.3

Send the Command Post Combat Echelon to the right one node, and up one node to fight the Cyclops. The Pathfinder-Melons will run into you on enemy phase.

Turn 2

2.1

Bring the lower Combat Echelon back down and left one node each, and then up-left to fight the Cyclops. 

2.2

Move the lower Combat Echelon back to the right and wait on the Command Post. 

2.3

The upper Combat Echelon should move up on node to fight the Dactyls. The final Pathfinder-Melons will walk into your lower Combat Echelon on Enemy phase for the victory.
