Introduction

The folks over at Girls' Frontline Corner are launching a Community Content Contest Event for GFL players and content creators!

Like the Speed Run Event, there are very generous participation prizes, and the submission window is almost one and a half months (Feb. 24 - Apr. 14)! Definitely give this event a shot if you have some time to whip up OC or create GFL guides.

For players that want something to do in-game, the Speed Run Event linked below is another option with similarly lucrative participation rewards.

FAQ

I plan to make a serious art piece/video but it's not a meme. Will it still qualify?

Of course! We encourage all types of submissions and actually would love to see some great OC from writers and artists.

Why can't I vote yet?

To keep things fair (so that all entries have a chance to be voted on), voting will last from Apr. 16 - Apr. 23, after the submission deadline closes.

Will I get participation rewards for a MS Paint drawing?

We expect some minimum level of serious effort for submissions. This is fairly lax, but we'll DQ anything that's an obvious troll or clearly didn't take more than 15 seconds to make.

I translated and typesetted another artist's comic/manga/video. Can I submit it to this contest?

No. Since most of the work in the final product was done by someone else, you would not be able to submit this type of work as your own entry in the CCC.

How will we cast our votes when the time comes?

There will be an announcement made in the official GFC Discord (https://discord.gg/gfc) containing instructions to vote when the time comes.

If I win, can I request a rename/recolor or my custom Discord role?

Because the roles are awarded to all 5 winners of each category, this will unfortunately not be possible.

My collaborative submission took a lot of time and effort from multiple people to make - will we still receive the reduced/split rewards?

Since this is the first CCC, the rules are set like that for now. If high-effort collaborative works are common, we may consider amending the prizing guidelines for any future events of similar nature that may occur.

If there's an internal judging panel, does the public vote actually matter?

The public vote is a major component and directly determines some winners. The judging panel is there to identify any honorable mentions (high-quality submissions that didn't receive a lot of public support for whatever reason) and award prizing as needed.

If I started working on something before this contest started but haven't made it public yet, will it be eligible for submission into this contest?

We highly recommend submissions be made specifically for this contest.

Will submitted entries be immediately made visible to the public, or are they only shared during the voting period?

GFC Staff will only disclose the full list at voting time, but there's nothing stopping you from sharing it on your own before then!

I don't have any ideas for this contest! What should I do?

Please check out the #ccc-ideas-suggestions channel on the official GFC Discord! If you have any ideas that you'd like guide writers to pick up, please leave a comment below!
