Mission: KIll BOSS

Clear Guide:

Team Recommendations:

  •  2 Combat Echelons Level 90 5x Linked

  • 2 Dummy Echelons

  • 1 HOC: BGM-71

    • Additional HOC (Either 2B14 or AGS) substantially speed the clear but are not a requirement by any stretch.

 Clear Steps

Black Nyto returns, without much of a vengeance. Sadly for her, she remains a colossal pushover, as you can now field HOCs. This ruins her attempt to use a Mortar against you, as well as shredding her Force Shield, and pummelling her reinforcements. Getting to her is more a challenge than the fight itself, with a variety of shielded enemies in your way. Bring BGM along, and use your strongest Echelon, and you will have no issues handling whatever if your path.

Turn 1

1.1

Deploy an AR/SMG Combat Echelon on the Heavy Heliport, and a Dummy Echelon on the Command Post. Move the Combat Echelon to the right one node, killing a Strelet.

1.2

Deploy BGM-71 on the Heavy Heliport, and swap them with your Combat Echelon.

1.3

Move your Combat Echelon to the left one node, killing yet another Strelet.

1.4

Deploy an RF/HG Echelon on the Heavy Heliport, ensure BGM is set to Bombard, and move down to kill the Doppelsoldner.

1.5

Having killed the Doppel, move the Dummy Echelon down one node, onto the Heavy Heliport.

1.6

Switch your Echelons about so that the Dummy Echelon is to the far left, BGM is on the Heavy Heliport, and the AR/SMG Combat Echelon is on the right Heliport.

Turn 2

2.1

Move your AR/SMG Combat Echelon to the right three nodes, down one node, back left onto the Heliport, and then down onto the Heavy Heliport.

2.2

BGM should follow behind, stopping on the regular Heliport.

2.3

Move the RF/HG Echelon to the left one node. They will be staying here to prevent any cheeky Gundams from coming up and ruining your day.

Turn 3

3.1

Resupply, and swap your AR/SMG Echelon up onto the Heliport. Move them to the right two nodes, down one node, back left two nodes, and then down onto the Heavy Heliport. Leave BGM off Bombardment for the Strelets, and the Rondel if possible to save on some resources.

3.2

Deploy a second Dummy Echelon on the now vacant Heliport.

3.3

Resupply the Combat Echelon, and move them down onto the Heavy Heliport.

3.4

With the Heavy Heliport now clear, move the Combat Echelon up and right.

3.5

Turn 4

Writers note: If you have a 3 Range HOC (AGS or 2B14), you can deploy them on the newly captured Heavy Heliport, Bombard the Mortar, then move down the one way path towards Nyto, and position your HOCs in range before engaging her, instead of running about as shown here.

4.1

Move your AR/SMG Echelon to the right three nodes, down twice, resupply on the One Time Supply Node, then back left, and down one node.

4.2

BGM should follow behind stopping just behind the Combat Echelon, before Bombarding the Mortar. From there, your Combat Echelon can engage Nyto.

BOSS: Black Nyto

HP Damage RoF Acc Eva Armor Def%
150k 76 80 150 20 40 50

While her stats have improved a great deal from the first encounter, Nyto Obelisk remains relatively nonthreatening. Her Damage is much increased, making an Evasion-boosting main Tank more valuable, but otherwise, the same strategy of applying DPS and avoiding position 5 holds up.

Your HOC's first shot will blow away her Force shield, letting your Echelons apply their full force to her this time around.

Like before, a Taunt Fairy can make this fight substantially easier.

She summons Strelets every 12 seconds or so. If need be, a DPS can be micromanaged to re-target them, but your HOC should bombard these out of existence regardless.

While Black Nyto retains her special ability with the force shield featuring more HP this time around, under concentrated fire from 3 ARs she should melt without issue. Should the AR’s not break the shield, avoid placing a T-Doll on position 5 and things will handle themselves.
