Equipment

Overview

G41 has long been considered the baseline for an AR to be usable. Her Skill is simple, granting her 75% Damage for 10 seconds with a 4 seconds ICD.

The fact that she is the baseline remains true, even with her SPEQ and newer ARs arriving, but all the newer ARs and AR Mods means that the baseline for ARs is the absolute bare minimum. Any AR that can't outperform G41 is cores, while those who do better will still need to find a niche with all the competition. There are almost twice as many 5☆ ARs as other types of guns, and there are many ARs with Mods as well, some of which are very very strong.

With G41 being the baseline and there being so many ARs to choose from, this also means that G41 doesn't really see much use in the modern meta, both due to the competition but also due to ARs just not being good against enemy team comps where the backline needs to be eliminated first and the excessive amount of Armor on almost everything.

History/Trivia

Produced in 1981 by Heckler and Koch, this gun was made to create a more modern gun that complied with the NATO standards. Only a small quantity of the G41 was ever produced.
