Equipment
Overview
HK45 is February’s Login Reward. Compared to other 3 Stars she stands out as the best Damage buffing T-Doll. She has the highest pure Damage Tile Buff out of all 3 Stars, and is only beaten out by MK23 and Jill Stingray. HK45’s Skill is also decent, being the highest damage buff among 3 Stars, though having a negligible accuracy buff. The layout of her tiles are somewhat unfortunate as they force her to be in the 5 position to maximize their use.
Overall, HK45 is a reliable T-Doll with decent buffs, the only real issue is that she is simply outclassed by the 4 and 5 Star T-Dolls, as they are able to provide a lot more for their formations than she can.

Strengths
Low Cost
Owing to being a 3 star, it is not very difficult to core HK45 up to 5x dummy links, making her good for commanders on a budget.
Decent Buffs
Out of all 3 stars, HK45 possesses the highest straight damage buffs, both for her tiles and her Skill itself. This means that she remains useful until a commander can acquire one of the higher rarity damage buffing T-Dolls.
Weaknesses
Heavily Outclassed
Like most 3 stars, she gets outclassed by the higher rarity T-Dolls of her class. Her Damage Tile Buff is technically only outperformed by two T-Dolls at the moment, but that is not saying much as her Skill remains mediocre.
Login Reward
HK45 is a login reward T-Doll which presents two issues. Firstly, if you missed her, there is absolutely no way to obtain her again unless she shows up in a new event. Secondly, it means she can only be acquired once, which means cores are required to supply her with dummy links.
Full Analysis
HK45 is a HG with fairly middle of the road stats. Her HP and Evasion are nothing particularly notable, both in and outside of her rarity, being 330 and 80 respectively. HK45, like most Handguns, is not likely to survive many hits.
For the rarity HK45 is in, her buffs are extreme standouts. Her tile buff is a 32% Damage increase which is the third highest straight Damage increase value for a tile buff currently available. The pattern for the tile buff is a bit unfortunate, as it forces her to be in position 5, but that can be worked around due to the sheer strength of said Damage increase.
HK45’s Skill is a bit awkward, as it is a 15% Damage and 10% Accuracy increase for 8 seconds with a 12 second cooldown. While it is certainly one of the best, if not the best, Damage increasing Skills for 3 Star HGs, the Accuracy buff is negligible for any T-Doll that is not an MG or SG. This means that if one wants to be most efficient with her, they should be utilizing her on a team of MGs and SGs. The other thing that makes her Skill awkward is that there are many better skills in 4 and 5 Star T-Dolls that easily eclipse her Skill in power.
Overall, HK45 is a decent T-Doll for a 3 Star, she just happens to suffer the same issue that all low rarity Handguns do, in that their Skills become quickly outclassed. If one has a strict budget, she is a good pick, but if one failed to obtain her during the login event, her role can be fulfilled by others.

Team Options
Decent MGs: HK45’s skill works best with MGs. PK, MG5, and M2HB are examples of particularly good MGs that will definitely enjoy her buffs.
Position 4 HGs: Since HK45 has to be used in position 5, it is ideal to have her with HGs whose tiles are best from position 4. HGs that fit the bill are Grizzly, SAA, and Spitfire.

MG |
HK45 will work decently in an echelon such as this, as her buff will be applied to at least 2 of the DPS. The only downside to this echelon is that her buff will miss the SG, though this is not at all something one would need to worry about.

Should a second SG be desired, this echelon is best to run.

History/Trivia
The Heckler & Koch HK45 is a German pistol that was designed for use in the US Military to replace the 9mm M9 pistol. Unfortunately for the HK45, the US Military suspended the program for which the HK45 was supposed to qualify for indefinitely in 2006, however, Heckler & Koch decided to release the pistol to the general public. So far the pistol has been adopted by a small few Law Enforcement, US and Australian military groups.
