Point Event: Springtime Operation (2020)

Submit Feedback or Error

The newest Point Event for Girls Frontline EN, Springtime Operation, has launched today! The 1800-point reward this time is an excellent 5-star SMG T-Doll, JS 9, whose character page contains detailed gameplay analysis for any interested commanders.

JS 9 is a limited T-Doll and not obtainable from production, and she is fairly irreplaceable in her role. It is highly recommended for players to try and get one copy of her.

Huge thanks to Arloste/Awakening for datamining the Point Event quest list, rewards, and the background and sharing it!

JS 9 will also eventually get a costume later! You can preview it down below.

What is a Point Event?

A Point Event is essentially a collection of three sets of mini quests, released in phases on the dates shown above in the official event banner.

The event interface is accessible from a “Time-Limited Event” button visible from the main base screen for the duration of this event. When at least one quest reward is available for collection, a red ! badge is shown.

Once the event interface opens, a collection of reward bundle boxes are shown. Their contents can be collected after reaching the specified number of points.

Quests do not retroactively count actions performed prior to their in-game unlock. Therefore, it is recommended for commanders to delay any planned T-Doll or Fairy skill training until Phase 3 of the Point Event.

Due to the scarcity of Enhancement Capsules (which are extremely expensive to obtain from combat simulation), players with low amounts of it are advised to wait until week 3 to spend them.

As the point event lasts until April 27th, it will end right before the DJMax Collaboration Event. Active players will generally clear almost all missions from normal gameplay only.

Can I get JS 9 right now?

Phase 1 of the Point Event does not contain enough points for commanders to unlock JS 9 even if they complete every quest immediately (which is impossible as some quests are time-gated like ”Total login: 12 days”).

JS 9 is also mostly irrelevant for the current Theater event or the upcoming DJMax collab, so players don't need to be in a hurry to unlock her.

Do I need to do all quests to unlock JS 9?

The answer is no! All quests combined add up to 3000 points, while the main milestone reward requires only 1800 points.

Players can safely skip all token quests and an additional 200 points worth of quests while still hitting the 2400-point total.

Is it worth spending 1000 Tokens for 3000/3000 points?

The final point milestone only contains a functionally worthless Challenger Medal. Commanders are therefore not advised to spend tokens for the sole purpose of completing the point event, as it is possible to reach 2400/3000 points without spending a single Token.
