ASh-12.7

Overview

ASh-12.7 is a damage and critical damage self-buffing AR. With ridiculously high firepower and very low rate of fire stats, ASh-12.7 will perform poorly without rate of fire buffs. Her long 6 second initial cooldown skill means her damage will be stacked later, potentially letting the team take more damage from incoming enemies than it should. With a maxed VFL equipped, the second part of her self-buff of 50% crit will take her past 100% crit-rate, so she needs no extra citrate buffs. Her 30% damage tile buff would benefit off-tanks the most, but her tile shape wants her usually on position 1. With her not so great performance and difficulty to obtain, ASh-12.7 is usually not a good pick for a team.

Strengths

High Damage

With a Damage stat of 65, Ash-12.7 has the second highest Damage stat out of ARs, second only to 6P62’s 69 Damage.

Weaknesses

Low rate of fire

ASh-12.7’s 59 rate of fire is a very low base for an AR, lowering capability of dealing with mobs

Long initial cooldown

With 6 seconds of initial cooldown, ASh-12.7’s skill takes unusually long for a self-buff.

Awkward tile placement

While her tiles give what an off-tank would want, her tile shape would place her on position 4 to hit them, where a support would fit better.

Difficult to Obtain

Only getting one copy from monthly logins and requiring farming the campaign to get more dupes means ASh-12.7 is not a good budget option even as a three star.

SMGs With RoF/Accuracy Buffs

Although it isn’t strictly necessary, ASh-12.7 has a low enough base Accuracy and RoF to want at least one buff to each stat. As ASh-12.7’s base Accuracy is still high enough to usually hit foes, she needs Accuracy buffs less and prefers RoF buffs, as her RoF is objectively low. Another thing to consider when choosing SMGs is Crit Rate buffs -- as ASh-12.7 caps Crit Rate by herself, Crit Rate buffs from SMGs end up being redundant. Some SMGs that fit this criteria are G36C and Vector.

HGs With RoF/Accuracy/Damage Buffs

As stated above, ASh-12.7 needs RoF and Accuracy buffs, but she needs RoF buffs more than Accuracy buffs. Like all ARs, though, ASh-12.7 still appreciates Damage buffs. Some examples of HGs that would fit well with her are SAA and Welrod.

ARs

As ARs are inherently selfish attackers, ASh-12.7 doesn’t have a specific need to be used with a certain AR; any good one works. Some good ARs are G11, Type95, and G41.
