Point Event: Entrance Exam (2019)

The newest Point Event for Girls Frontline EN, Entrance Exam, has launched today! 

The 1800-point reward this time is a 5-star RF T-Doll, SRS, whose newly-minted character page and analysis can be seen here for any interested commanders.
 

A Point Event is essentially a collection of three sets of mini quests, released in phases on the dates shown above in the official event banner.

The event interface is accessible from a “Time-Limited Event” button visible from the main base screen for the duration of this event. When at least one quest reward is available for collection, a red ! badge is shown.

Once the event interface opens, a collection of reward bundle boxes are shown. Their contents can be collected after reaching the specified number of points.

The box rewards are as follows:

(The Challenger Medal is a cosmetic item that can be displayed on the commander’s friendship ID card. It has no other in-game effect.)

The quest list for each phase can be viewed by tapping the three tabs on the left:

Selecting “Get reward” will collect the resource rewards and event points, which will accumulate as more quests are completed and unlock more bundles.

Quests do not retroactively count actions performed prior to their in-game unlock. Therefore, it is recommended for commanders to delay any planned T-Doll or Fairy skill training until Phase 3 of the Point Event. 

Similarly, for commanders who want to complete the “Consume T-Doll contracts 100 in total” quest in Phase 1 by bulk-crafting a large number of units, it may be optimal to wait until Phase 3 of the event to double-dip on the “Spend 30000 ammo” quest progress. As the event lasts until September 13th, it may even coincide with the September new T-Doll release batch - a period during which the commander may be crafting a lot anyway. (Update 08/29: It was officially confirmed in the Monthly Q&A that the rate-up will begin before the point event ends.)

Phase 1 of the Point Event does not contain enough points for commanders to unlock SRS, even if they complete every quest immediately, which is impossible as some quests are time-gated like ”Total login: 12 days”.

The answer is no! All quests combined add up to 3000 points, while the SRS milestone reward requires only 1800 points.

The final point milestone only contains a functionally worthless Challenger Medal. Commanders are therefore not advised to spend tokens for the sole purpose of completing the point event, as it is possible to reach 2400/3000 points without spending a single Token.

The designated mission quests are like mini-riddles, with a quote from the story dialogue from the corresponding map. The exact missions have already been discovered and listed out in the quest list above, but for ease of access, here are the designated missions for each week:
