Calibration just optimises the stats of a piece of equipment it doesn't enhance it. What you want is equipment enhancement which is what you get for finishing Night 1-4.
Assuming you have finished 1-4 you have two options.
Use your low tier equipment to enhance some higher tier equipment, or just disassemble it in the factory. The latter isn't really advised since you get very little out of scrapping equipment and it's done purely for space reasons.
