Clear Steps
Clearing E1-2 Normal is less straightforward but ultimately doesn't provide any serious difficulty spike. For newer players, the Black Goliath (or Bean) operates as a DPS check. If it reaches your Echelon, it will explode, putting all Dolls at critical damage. If you are just short on Damage, remember you can move your tank out of the way to buy yourself another second or two to deal Damage.
Stepping on the Radar in the central area of the map will remove the 8k CE Manticore which allows the Elimination Objective to be completed for those without the firepower to defeat it. Surrounding the Command Post is not a difficult endeavor, but does require a bit of timing to keep from completing the other objective. A combined clear of both objectives is not possible, as the missions complete immediately upon defeating the final enemy, not on turn end.

Move the Combat Echelon to the right one node, up one node, and to the left one node. This will remove the Bean threatening the Dummy Echelon.

Move the Combat Echelon to the right one node, and then up two nodes to defeat the last enemy and complete this objective.
