Clear Steps
Chapter 2 of SC wraps up with a relatively simple hostage recovery. The secondary objectives add some spice to the mission either applying a bit of urgency or a more methodical clear when capturing the Heliports. Smashers continue to roam the map, and will need to be engaged, so keep your AR/SMG echelons handy.

Deploy a Combat Echelon on the Command Post. Move up one node, and deploy a second Combat Echelon on the Command Post.
Swap and resupply your Echelons before sending them forwards, otherwise, you risk running into resource issues!

Move the upper Combat Echelon up onto the Console. Activate it to open the lower gate.

Move the upper Combat Echelon down one node, to the right one node to rescue the hostage, then down one more node to stand in the now open gate.

Move the upper Combat Echelon to the right three nodes to rescue the hostage. Move right-down and then right one node each to engage the Smasher.

Move the Combat Echelon with the hostage and left two nodes. Swap with the Echelon on the Command Post and manually complete the hostage rescue to finish this objective.

Move the right Combat Echelon down one node.

Move the left Combat Echelon down one node, then to the right three nodes.
Turn 5 (Capture Only)
5.1
If you did not previously, swap your Echelons and manually rescue the hostage.
Now, move the Echelon on the right up one node,to the left one node, to the upper right one node, then left three nodes to secure the final Heliport.
