Clear Steps

At face value, this is a simple search and destroy mission, however, there are a few little quirks to the formula. First, the console in the upper right of the map which will place one of the Black Beans into 'sleep' mode allowing it to be carried around and used as a bomb. There is no Radar to remove the Manticores this time around, but by now you should be more than capable of defeating them. Bring a strong AR/SMG echelon and buckle in for a bit of a long battle but one easily winnable.

Deploy Combat Echelons on the Command Post and Heliport. Move the Echelon on the Command Post to the left two nodes, and up one node then left one more node. Activate the Console. 

1.2

Move the upper Combat Echelon to the left one node, and down one node. End your turn.

2.1

Deploy a Dummy Echelon on the Heliport.

Move the lower Combat Echelon to the left one node, down one node, and to the right two nodes. End your turn. 

3.1

Move the upper Combat Echelon up one node, to the right, down, and right one node each, then up two nodes, before moving to the right once more. Activate the Console and put the Bean to sleep.

4.1

Move the lower Combat Echelons up two nodes, to the right one node then up one more node to pick up the Bomb. 

4.2

Move the Combat Echelon with the Bomb down one node, to the left one node, then up one node. End your turn. 

5.1

Move the Echelon with the Bomb to the left, down, left, and up one node each. Use the Bomb to remove the Strider. 

5.2

Move that same Echelon up two nodes to finish the map.
