 Mission: Capture the Command Post

Clear Guide:

Team Recommendations:

  • 2 Night ARSMG Combat Echelons, Level 90 5x Linked
    • One of them should be the Agent-kill team. RO/C-MS/Evasion-boosting SMG as a main tank, 2/3 DPS ARs, and 1-2 HG is recommended.

 Clear Steps

Most of this map is standard fare, just fighting against a variety of Sangvis enemies at night. The only difference is Agent, who will be covered at the end when she is fought.

Turn 1

1.1

Spawn a Combat Echelon on your Command Post. Swap positions with the SAA to the left, then move down and left to the Heliport. Leave both SAAs on Eliminate Enemies for now.

Turn 2

2.1

One of your SAAs will have been blown up by an enemy. Swap the position of your Combat Echelon with the living SAA, then move up to kill the Vespid.

2.2

Spawn a Combat Echelon on the Command Post now that you have vision of HQ, then move the first Combat Echelon down one node. Swap the Combat Echelons if you summoned the Agent-killing team last - the Echelon that is moving down now will be the one that marches towards the enemy Command Post.

2.3

Swap positions with the living SAA once again, and end your turn.

Turn 3

3.1

Move the Agent-kill team up three nodes then across one, ending the turn adjacent to the Command Post. Use some emergency repairs if needed before setting off.

Agent will attack on the enemy phase, so be prepared.

Boss: Agent

While her CE of over 70k dwarfs anything that can be fielded by Commanders, Agent is honestly a wimpy boss in this stage. Her generic attacks do decent damage, but her Accuracy is poor, making Evasion-boosting tanks such as RO635  or C-MS good picks to take her on.

If you have reached this point and do not yet have RO, it is highly recommended that you go and clear Chapter 7 to get her. Some Skill Training would also be recommended.

If you lack a tank capable of taking the abuse the entire time, swapping between tanks will allow Commanders to spread damage out to survive the fight.

During the fight, Agent will summon a series of clones at various HP thresholds. These can be ignored, as they inflict negligible damage.

If you are relying on swapping between multiple tanks, it may be useful to kill a clone to get the HP shield. You will need to re-target by quickly shuffling your DPS (see the embedded video for an example at the start).

At 15% and then 5%, Agent will bring up a force shield, that must be broken within a short time window, or else the entire Echelon will take massive damage.

Turn 4

Move onto the Command Post to capture it, and end your turn.
