Mission and Clear Conditions:
Mission: Capture the enemy Command Post.
1 5x Linked AR Night Echelon to take on Gager.
2 Dummy Echelons
Once again, we’re squaring off against Gager, on a map that is mostly ignorable. The only difference is that this time, we don’t have Squad 404 to bait and kill a Red Goliath, meaning that you either need to do so ourselves, or need to bait one out. Most Commanders will want to bait the Red Goliath on the way to the Radar Node below Gager, and then retreat the unit.
While M4 and Defy are on the map, they apparently got confused and showed up on the wrong side, without the firepower to kill a Red Goliath while they are at it, so just ignore them and focus on the right side of the map.
Spawn a Dummy Echelon next to M4 and Defy, while spawning a Combat Echelon on the Heliport on the far side.
Move the Combat Echelon left and up. Before you step out of vision, make sure to spawn a Dummy Echelon on the now-vacant Heliport, and then move them up one node onto the Heliport as well.
Move your Combat Echelon up one node, triggering the Random Node, then move your Dummy Echelon up behind them, and swap positions, ending up in the formation shown above.
Move your Combat Echelon one node to the left to encircle the Enemy Heliport and end your turn. On the enemy phase, make sure to retreat your Dummy after the Red Goliath engages it.
Your Combat Echelon should move up two nodes then left one node, and up to the Radar Node. Both Random Nodes along the way will be Ambushes, so make sure you have enough supplies. If not, resupply at the captured Heliport before moving up.
Make sure to set the KCCO unit to Standby, then end your turn.
Gager will attack on the enemy phase. For more information about this boss, see the Hub page for Chapter 2.
Set the KCCO unit to Capture Command Post, and end your turns until the abandoned robot ally captures the enemy Command Post and the map ends.
