Clear Steps
A Hostage Rescue mission, 1-2 should not pose a significant challenge, and regardless, the friendly AK-12 can be used to defeat the map if absolutely needed by moving towards it and swapping on Turn 1.
Turn 1

Move down, rescue M4, and move one node to the left.
Turn 2
2.1
Move up one node, killing the Ripper. End your turn here and capture the Heliport via encirclement, rather than moving onto it directly.
Turn 3
3.1
Move onto the Heliport, and manually complete the hostage rescue by selecting your echelon and retrieving the hostage.
