Strengths

Strong Skillbuff

CZ 100 has a very strong 35% firepower buff during night time, although that’s weakened to 20% at daytime.

Weaknesses

Night Specialist

While day battles are not the end of the world in CZ 100’s case because her skill multipliers are still quite good at day and she maintains a good skill uptime, she still lags behind normal HGs.

Awkward Tiles

Box of misery. Square of suffering. Rhombus of terror. CZ 100’s tile layout is extremely weird, and usually cannot cover all the DPS of the backline in standard teams. It doesn’t even look like a fish.

Full Analysis

CZ 100 is a weird 4* night-specialized buff/debuffing HG.

Her average 4* tile buff has the same values as SAA’s, but is even more restricted than most. Her square of suffering makes her positioning on most standard teams awkward (potentially positions 2 or 5).

Her skill is a poor mishmash of two different skills that alternate each time she activates her skill.

On first activation (and every odd-numbered activation after that) she gives her team a strong night-specialized firepower buff similar to Gr Mk23’s, but lasts the full 8 seconds regardless of time of day.

On second activation (and every even-numbered activation after that) she uses a night-specialized enemy firepower debuff. Also lasts 8 seconds.

Another way to think about it is that she has 2 skills with different cooldowns. The firepower buff is on a 6 second initial cooldown and a 24 second cooldown. The firepower debuff is on an 18 second initial cooldown and a 24 second cooldown.

All in all, the night-specialization is not actually that bad of a problem. Unlike similar 4* night-specialist HGs, CZ 100’s skills last the full 8 seconds regardless of time of day. Since she got the stronger archetype of firepower buffer, her skill multiplier is still decent at daytime.

The problem with CZ 100 is that she is nowhere close to reliable. Since she switches her skill type every activation, teams she is added to cannot fully focus on offense or defense. Both versions just have garbage uptimes because she needs to use her skill twice to get it again. Using CZ 100, fights lasting past 18 seconds will lose the advantage that high-uptime DPS support most strong HGs usually offer. If one is planning on using the firepower debuff, that is an excruciating 18 seconds to wait while being pummeled. Her awkward tile layout demanding awkward echelon positioning to make the most of them also does not help.

For fights lasting under 18 seconds, CZ 100 is actually fine. She has a strong skill. But she still has weird tiles. Investment into her instead of more readily available options like SAA or ones with less restrictive and more powerful tiles like Gr Mk23 is ill-advised.

History/Trivia

Introduced in 1995, the CZ 100 is a semi-automatic handgun developed by Czech small arms manufacturer, Česká Zbrojovka. The handgun has 9mm Parabellum and .40 S&W variants, with a 13- and 10-round box magazine, respectively.

Profile

She has a strong aversion to social interaction and much prefers reading manga on her own. She takes great pains to avoid busy places and is often mistaken for a ghost when she seemingly appears out of nowhere. She is a little insecure about her own abilities but still secretly cares for other Dolls in her own way. She admires her senior CZ75 a great deal for her decisiveness. The Commander is the one person whose attention she wants.
