Overview
Considered the AR standard, there isn’t much to say about G41 gameplay-wise (let’s not discuss her looks or legality). G41 enjoys well-rounded stats, and a generic Damage self-buff skill, setting her up as a generalist, which contributes to her reputation as “the AR standard”. With the release of AR chip, this standard has been pushed higher, as being a Damage self buffer G41 greatly benefits from it, unlike RoF self buffer ARs.
Commanders who wish to ignore her questionable looks will have a very capable AR in her hands. Commanders who are too bothered by her looks can turn instead to R5, which is almost a carbon copy.
Commanders who earned her SPEQ can opt to use AR chips instead. As Orthrus is common in compositions ARSMG teams face in recent content, increasing G41’s RoF allows her to bring down Orthrus shield faster, while the extra +10 Damage (+25 from SPEQ versus +15 from chips) and +10 Accuracy her SPEQ gives won’t be making much of a difference.
The +20 Evasion certainly won’t change anything.

Strengths
Balanced stats
50 Damage, 48 Accuracy and 77 RoF are middle of the road for an AR, and give G41 a solid base to work from.
Good skill
4 seconds ICD, 10/16 uptime and 75% damage buff is a good skill, and its uptime is long enough so that G41 will still have it activated when Orthrus shields go down.
Weaknesses
Generalist
Being a generalist means she neither is bad, nor she excels in any situation. As ARSMGs are a niche team in the current meta, fielding G41 over specialists ARs is often undesirable.

Team Options
Any SMG
As G41 does not particularly need a specific type of tile buff, she synergizes well with any SMG.
Any AR
Due to G41’s versatility, she can be combined with any ARs and produce above average results.
Recommended Formations

AR/HG | SMG | |
G41/AR |
As G41 is versatile, and she can synergize with almost every AR and SMG. Usually, G41 is either placed at positions 7 or 1; this is because her Evasion tiles are useful for buffing the main SMG tank, but her buff tiles do not cover the tile directly in front of her. Due to this, her buffs will not reach the SMG main tank if she is placed in the middle of the back column.

History/Trivia
Produced in 1981 by Heckler and Koch, this gun was made to create a more modern gun that complied with the NATO standards. Only a small quantity of the G41 was ever produced.
