Equipment

Overview

With an offensive Self-buff and Crit Rate buffing tiles, Honey Badger will resemble a lower rarity SR-3MP. However, with more versatility presented in her kit, Honey Badger should be considered an off-tank that is much easier to use.

While SR-3MP's tiles will often want to make use of Position 5, or place her as an off-tank with an additional source of Crit Rate for Position 1 ARs, Badger affords flexibility and survivability while filling the same role. Bader posses tiles that buff both the Positions 7 and 1 DPS units with 20% Damage and 20% Crit Rate, with a skill that offsets her low Evasion stat. Her 160% Damage multiplier may be lower, but Badger compensates for this with an exceptional Damage stat, and her high HP and 40% Evasion self-buff work in tandem with her tile layout to mitigate SR-3MP's fundamental weaknesses.

Unfortunately, the cost of this flexibility is a higher, 6-second Initial Cooldown. This drawback will cause Badger to fall behind in damage compared to ARs, and may find she is unable to compete as a damage-dealer. Additionally, using Badger as a direct damage off-tank removes a source of damage mitigation by missing an AoE SMG Skill.

Damaged

Strengths

Excellent Stats

Honey Badger features a high HP pool and an exceptional Damage stat, great for an off-tank

Evasion Self-Buffing

Honey Badger relies on her Dummy Links for her DPS, and her Evasion self-buff will help mitigate damage.

Powerful Tile Buffs and Coverage

20% Damage and 20% Crit covering the DPS from Position 8 allows Badger to fit into Echelons with ease.

Weaknesses

Low Skill Multipliers

Due to her a lower rarity and split Skill buffs, Honey Badger will have a hard time matching SR-3MP in raw damage output.

Long Initial Cooldown

Honey Badger's Skill activates at 6 seconds, which is quite late and comes only after many self-buffing ARs. As a result, she will struggle to provide competitive damage output.

Requires Team Support

Due to her low Accuracy and RoF, Honey Badger will be reliant on tile buffs and good damage from Assault Rifles to protect her as a frontline damage-dealer.
