Overview
IDW DA NYA, one of the first Girls’ Frontline experiences any Commander will face. She will arrive when you least expect, when you dearly want that Grizzly to gift that beautiful Borgar Girlfriend skin. IDW is unavoidable, IDW is inevitable.
And she is as bad as she is inevitable. Made of paper, her high Evasion stat is not enough to compensate for the sanity loss that her production line incurs. Avoid her like the plague, because she will forever plague you as long as you touch this game.

Overview
If you reached this section, chances are you either are too new in the game to be acquainted with IDW’s memes, or don’t have anything else to mod. IDW’s Mod serves one purpose, and it is to make more memes, specifically evasion memes. That’s all she can offer, as she still remains as squishy as a bug HP-wise. Moreover, her Skill 2 has no synergy whatsoever with her Skill one, making her a hybrid Direct Fire/maintank SMG that horribly fails to be good on both aspects.

At 85 Evasion, you’d think she puts all that Evasion into actively avoiding being annoying, but it seems it just is used to avoiding not chipping away at your sanity.

At 750 HP, she might as well be a HG when compared to her other SMG peps. At least if she dies quickly she stays quiet right?

Her skill is a direct downgrade of Ceia’s-I mean, Suomi’s and MP7’s. However, one calls you “Caretaker” and the other is a cute vtuber and the best guidemaker we had in Girls’ Frontline. IDW is just the neighbour’s annoying cat you can’t poison because you’ll be arrested.

With her SPEQ, IDW Mod has a whopping 129 Evasion. P22, one of the highest Evasive HGs, has only 110 Evasion, whereas MP5 Mod 3 is short of IDW’s Evasion with her Night SPEQ and Mod SPEQ.

IDW Mod remains just as memeful as IDW, now that she has a better Evasion Focus skill.
Weaknesses
Still squishy like an annoying bug
At 770 HP, IDW still remains at the bottom barrel of the SMGs HP-wise. Even Skorpion is beefier than her. And more useful

Low multiplier
At 130% self evasion buff, IDW still lags behind Ceia’s 150% buff and MP7’s 180% buff. With Suomi being obtainable on production and MP7 farmable on Continuum Turbulence’s Campaign, there is no reason to spend precious memory fragments on idw, other than you being close to cap and lacking any other doll to Mod III.

If you wish to have a miserable life, you can field IDW on Position 5. Or go for an IDWxodia (link Furytomic’s vid here). Might as well go with a hell of a meme since she’s trash.

History/Trivia
The Bushman IDW, later known as the Parker Hale PDW, was designed by George D. Ealovega and utilized his patented “rate regulator” technology -- consisting of a computer chip connected to a hydraulic system that controlled the weapon’s rate of fire. The IDW was ultimately never used by any military or police force, however, referenced in IDW’s introduction line in-game where she asks if anyone will adopt her.
Fun fact: she has the same artist as UMP45’s and M500’s. No wonder M500 is called “SG IDW”, even though she’s closer to a dog.
