Overview

Hot on the heels of M500 Mod, LTLX-7000 represents the next step forwards in the Shotgun meta for Girls Frontline. Combining minor crowd control, powerful Skill, improved Tile coverage, and new highs for the Armor stat, LTLX is a fantastic addition to your armory, and all players are encouraged to acquire her, likely from a True Core Mask.

Starting from the top, LTLX does well in the two stats that matter for a shotgun, HP and Armor. Specifically, her 25 base Armor is the highest in the game at the time of her release, along with a high HP pool to further aid her durability. Her Damage Tile buff covers the entire rear and middle columns allowing for far more flexibility when placing MGs, or even LTLX herself, as she can forgo the MG tiles as needed, thanks to her powerful survival buffs. In some cases. LTLX can even be used without MGs at all, tanking for AR or RF echelons as needed.

The real attraction for LTLX however is her Skill, which combines a variety of powerful effects, allowing her to perform Crowd Control, Buff Clear, and Armor stacking duties at the same time, with a short enough Cooldown that she fires her first knockback shot before needing to reload. The ability to gain a greater than 100% Armor buff alone is worthwhile, placing her at the top of the Armor Stacking pile, with a shorter Cooldown to come top it off. However, the additional knockback and buff clearing effects push LTLX from ‘best in her niche’ to an extremely powerful option, thanks to a rising number of enemies that have self-buffs and HP Shields in current and upcoming content. There are several other quirks to this Skill that add to its strength, detailed in the Full Analysis section below.

To reiterate, all players should acquire LTLX either from crafting or the True Core Mask from an upcoming event. She is extremely useful, able to perform a variety of duties and all Commanders can find a use for her.

Strengths

 Top Tier Stats:

1375 HP and 25 Armor gives LTLX excellent survivability.

 Powerful Skill effects:

Buff stripping and Knockback are both powerful effects that enable LTLX to function with a wide variety of Echelons outside of just MGSG formations, as well as giving her relevance in upcoming content.

Weaknesses

 Expensive to obtain and raise:

As a high rarity Shotgun LTLX is extremely expensive to craft, although this is somewhat mitigated by the presence of the True Core Mask. She will still likely cost a large number of cores to Dummy Link, due to her rarity.

MG only tiles

MG-RF synergy is still novel in GFL, even though there are a surprising amount of enemies that either can be dealt with RFSGs or require RFSGs to be dealt with. Seeing LTLX’s versatile tiles being MG only feels like a wasted opportunity, especially when she has a strong synergy with other teams due to her powerful abilities.

Full Analysis

Heterogenous Repulsion looks impressive at first glance, and lives up to that expectation. There are a number of quirks with how this Skill works, so let's break it down a bit. You can ignore the Damage reduction part of the Skill. It will not affect LTLX’s usage.

The Passive ability is straightforward. All damage to LTLX is reduced by 20% as long as the enemies are in front of her. The definition of in front is the same as the graphic displayed when AK-Alfa’s Skill is active for ease of visualization, for those without Alfa, see the Gif for a visual representation, otherwise, it is roughly the same width as the Row LTLX is standing in. This Damage reduction applies before Armor reduction, which further improves LTLX’s durability.

WhatisFront
LTLX will benefit form damage reduction when enemies are standing in the area Alfa is highlighting.

The real star of the show is the non-damaging Skill shot, which features guaranteed Knockback and Buff removal, as well as LTLX’s Armor Buff. True to the description, the hitbox is a cone not square, originating from LTLXs position. While not an issue, it does mean that some enemies at the top and bottom of the screen can avoid getting knocked back if LTLX is in position 6. More interestingly, this shot is a Sure-Hit and will hit all enemies within the cone, there is no observed cap on the number of enemies that can be knocked back. Additionally, the knock is much larger than comparable effects (Beach Fairy, Manticores, standard SG knockback). Finally, while knockback effects are quite powerful, they are often limited by enemies that are flatly immune, like enemy bosses, or the inability to knock back enemies who are attacking. LTLX has none of these concerns, able to smack around almost everything that is within the area of effect. The only things LTLX cannot move with her Skill are enemies with a movement speed of 0, such as Pyxis or Jupiter Canons.

LTLX Yeets a Patroller
LTLX removes the Evasion buff from a Patroller before knocking it back. This will also work with the Patroller's HP Shield is active.

The second part of this Skill is equally or more powerful than the knockback: stripping enemies of HP shields and Buffs. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, this affects SWAP Dragoons, Rippers, Guards, and Vespids, KCCO Orthus (Dogs) and Shields granted by Archeron Pillars, Patroller Evasion buffs when they jump and a number of upcoming Paradeus enemies. This also works on Bosses, such as the Ares Mech from Polarized Light, several upcoming bosses, and any older bosses that use HP Shields during the fight. There are a few things this Skill cannot remove, which include effects that flatly reduce Damage taken, such as Judge’s first phase, Minotaur barriers (although she can knock them back and force them to walk forwards again), and the Damage reduction while moving from the upcoming Punisher enemy. Even with that caveat, it is hard to overstate how powerful this effect is. Removing HP shields cuts into enemy survivability massively, and reducing incoming Damage by reducing Accuracy or Damage will likewise boost your own Echelon’s survivability. Likewise, the ability to remove Boss HP shields can allow you to skip DPS checks and entire phases, speeding up fights and skipping dangerous abilities, provided the Boss stands close enough for LTLX to hit. As a cherry on top, when LTLX removes HP Shields from an enemy, any effects that would normally result from the shield breaking, such as KCCO Dogs taking damage are triggered.

Last but not least, LTLX gets a 20% multiplicative Armor buff for each enemy hit by this Skillshot, capping at 5 stacks. This has a slightly longer duration than standard Armor Buff effects, as well as a higher potential buff, although LTLX is slightly bound by having enough targets to hit. This minor caveat is more than overcome from the shorter ICD, letting LTLX get her Skill off prior to her first reload, the higher potential boost combined with a stronger base stat, and the exhaustive list of additional effects listed above.

SWAP are not immune to Yeet either.
Putting everything together, LTLX removes the shields from the SWAP Dragoons, and throws back the entire massive SWAP stack from Theater 5 Core 8.

This concludes the lecture on LTLX-7000's Skill.

Team Options

LTLX can tank for a standard MG/SG Echelon, where she prefers Armor Buffs from her allies but does not require any specialized support to perform her duties.

When used in a non-standard Echelon, LTLX should be combined with strong self-sufficient AR/RFs, as she will be taking up a slot that could be used to provide buffs, and thus her teammates need to be able to keep up the DPS on their own.

Special mention goes to KSVK Mod, as she can reduce LTLX’s Skill Cooldown, allowing for more frequent Skillshots.
