Equipment

Overview

PK is one of the most powerful MGs who possess her type of passive Skill. Her Skill is the second best out of the passive Skill shared by three MGs (MG5, PK, and M2HB), which puts her near the top of the MG heap. While her stats are unbalanced -- she has a high Damage stat but her Accuracy is low --  PK’s high Damage allows for her to deal damage that matches and in some cases surpasses MG5. Overall, she is a great choice of MG, and her lower rarity makes her a core-conscious option.

Strengths

Passive Skill

PK has a passive Skill that’s the second best out of the two other MGs with the same Skill as her. Passive skills are the best type of Skills for MGs to have, as battles involving MGs often end quickly and therefore many Skills don’t have the chance to activate within the span of the battle.

High Damage

PK’s high Damage stat allows her to make better use of her Skill. Her damage output even matches MG5 in her first volley, who has a better Skill but lower Damage.

Long Clip

PK possesses one of the largest magazines out of all MGs at 11 shells per clip.

Weaknesses

Low Accuracy

PK has a low Accuracy stat even for an MG, who have an inherently low Accuracy stat. This makes her need Accuracy buffs even more than other MGs do.

Full Analysis

PK’s performance is one of the best out of all MGs, which can be attributed to her high Damage stat in conjunction with her Skill.

PK, first of all, has decent stats. Her high Damage stat at 96 allows her to deal damage that matches and at times surpasses MG5, despite PK’s inarguably less potent Skill. As this Skill buffs Damage by several times, each point of Damage matters a lot in PK’s Skill class as any additional Damage is multiplicative. Additionally, while PK does have much lower Accuracy than other MGs, as most MGs need to use ITI or EOT Sights to compensate for their low Accuracy regardless, this doesn’t make all that big of a difference.

The most important part of PK’s kit, though, is undoubtedly her Skill. PK’s Skill is a passive that buffs her every fourth shot by 160%, effectively increasing her overall DPS by 40%. While this means her Skill buffs her DPS by 10% less compared to MG5’s skill, as previously mentioned, PK’s much higher Damage stat means that she actually matches MG5 in terms of DPS. Moreover, PK’s Skill being a passive means that it is practically guaranteed to activate during the course of the battle as opposed to MG Skills on cooldown timers. As PK has 11 ammo in her magazine, it’s a good idea to use a max 5 star ammo box in her Equipment slot  to increase her ammo capacity to 16 ammo, therefore allowing her to proc her Skill four times in one volley.

Overall, PK is a solid choice for any SGMG Echelon due to a her Skill which is perfectly complemented by her statline. For anyone who lacks MG5 in their roster, PK is a perfectly serviceable alternative who will not disappoint.

Team Options

SGs with Accuracy/Damage Buffs

Like all MGs, PK appreciates both Accuracy and Damage buffs -- though PK does need Accuracy more because of her low base Accuracy Some examples of SGs who could be used with her are KSG and M37.

HG with Accuracy/Damage Buffs

Likewise, PK appreciates Damage and Accuracy (But mostly Accuracy buffs from HGs.  Teammates for her could include SAA, Mk23, and Grizzly.

Any Other MG

Like all MGs, it doesn’t particularly matter to PK which MG she’s paired up with. Partners include MG5, PKP, and M2HB.
