Equipment
Overview
PKP, with her superior Skill and stats, is one of the best MGs in the game.
PKP stands above other MGs due to her stats and passive Skill. She can be noted for her high Damage and Accuracy, which allows her to take full advantage of her main draw, her SkillAfter every shot, PKP has a 20% chance of firing an additional shot that deals 1.5x her Damage, allowing her to deal heavy blows to her foes A potential downside, however, is the RNG factor –as her Skill is chance-based, her overall damage output depends entirely on luck,. This means she sometimes surpasses the damage output of other passive Skill MG, but sometimes she doesn’t. Regardless, PKP still deals more damage than most other MGs consistently, meaning she is a solid choice for any SGMG Echelon.

Strengths
Passive Skill
PKP is one of the four MG with passive Skills. While her skill is different from the other three MG, it’s still just as good, if not better.
Amazing Stats
PKP has both high Damage and Accuracy, allowing her to make full use of her Skill.
Weaknesses
RNG Skill
PKP’s Skill relies on chance to activate, leaving her total damage output dependent on RNG.
Ammo Capacity
PKP has one less base ammo than MG5, leading to potentially less overall volley damage.
Full Analysis
PKP being one of the four MG with passive skills, potentially has the highest first-volley DPS out of all MGs in the game.
While PKP has above average Damage, the most important thing to note about her stats is her Accuracy, which is one of the highest out of MGs. This allows PKP to forgo the Red Dot entirely and use either EOTs or even VFLs, putting her ahead of other MGs in terms of Equipment.
The second (and most important) thing to note about PKP is her Skill. It is different from the other three passive Skill MGs; while MG5, PK, and M2HB has a Skill that increases the damage of every four shots they fire, PKP’s Skill has a 20% chance to fire another shot that deals 1.5x her Damage after every shot she fires. While her Skill description states that she has a chance to fire another “critical shot”, shots fired from her Skill can still crit, which means these additional shots can deal up to 2.25x her Damage. This creates a great synergy between PKP and a VFL; as PKP has more shots that can be affected by the crit buff, she benefits from the additional crit rate more than other MGs.
PKP’s Skill, however, has somewhat of a downside compared to the other passive Skills. While the Skill that the other three passive Skill MGs use is guaranteed to activate and increase their DPS, PKP’s Skill activation is completely random. This causes PKP’s DPS to fluctuate incredibly; while PKP can outdamage MG5 for the highest first volley damage, this is entirely dependant on how often she activates her Skill. Still, as PKP’sSskill affects each Dummy separately, the chance for her Skill to activate isn’t as low as her Skill description makes it sound, and PKP has the added benefit of being able to utilize Crit Damage properly compared to other MGs.
One extensive use to PKP outside a normal SGMG echelon is in Data Simulations. Although it is more efficient to use a 4RF formation in Elementary Data Simulations due to RFs hitting harder on the first shot, in Mid and Advanced Data Simulations, 4MG is used, as MGs have the highest short-term DPS in the game. The highest ranking times in Advanced and Mid Data Simulations are entirely dependant on how many times PKP’s Skill activates, and how many times PKP’s buffed shots crit.
Overall, while PKP’s Skill may seem somewhat RNG dependant, she is one of the best choices for an SGMG echelon due to her consistently high damage output.

Team Options
-
SGs that buff Damage/Accuracy - Like all MGs, PKP prefers to be placed with an SG that can buff Damage or Accuracy. KSG and M37 are good choices to use with her.
-
HGs that buff Damage/Accuracy - Like all MGs, PKP appreciates Damage buffs, but she also makes use of Accuracy tile buffs more than the average MG due to her being used with a VFL most of the time, leaving no equip to compensate for the low inherent Accuracy that MGs have. Some examples of HGs that buff that stats she needs are SAA, Mk23, and Grizzly.
-
MGs - Like all MGs, PKP doesn’t particularly care about which MG she’s paired with; any decent ones will do. Some examples are MG5, PK, and M2HB.

MG |
The ideal formation for an SGMG Echelon is a composition that only requires 1 SG. Although PKP is usually placed at the top such that the SG can receive her tile buffs, it doesn’t particularly matter if PKP is placed at the bottom in exchange for an MG that can buff SG armor only from the top position, as SGs don’t particularly care for any buffs outside Armor.

Although not optimal, another form of the SGMG Echelon is the 2SG composition. The position of PKP, once again, doesn’t matter, as her buffs don’t provide anything useful for the SG.
