Overview

FABARM S.A.T.8 is a craftable five-star Italian shotgun who takes advantage of a great kit that allows her to not only avoid taking a single point of damage in most fights due to her Skill, but also allows her to be placed on tile 6 and buff the entire MG backline with Accuracy and Damage buffs. This makes her an ideal solo tank SG in 3MG Echelons, as well as one of the very best MG buffers in the entire game as her tile buffs are flawless.

SAT8’s most defining feature is her 2 second Cooldown Skill which grants her and other allies positioned in the frontline a 35 HP shield that is affected by Armor.

Full Analysis

SAT loves to sing about her home country’s cuisine! As a matter of fact, you can witness the act if you give her a microphone in your Dormitory. In combat, though, SAT brings a nearly perfect kit to the table — her tile coverage allows her to be the main tank of any MG Echelon and her tile buffs help her excel in both 3MG and 2MG compositions. Sporting a healthy mix of Accuracy and Damage buffs for MGs, SAT’s tiles provide MG backlines with exactly what they need to get the job done. This makes her an excellent choice of tank for this reason alone, but her notable qualities don’t end there.

SAT’s Skill is very quick to activate — having only a 2 second Cooldown — and provides her and other units in the frontline with a shield that will absorb up to 35 HP damage in total (calculated after Armor). Because this Skill activates before most enemies even have the chance to attack, it will in most cases prevent SAT from taking any damage at all during battle; the high firepower of MGSG Echelons combined with her Armor reducing hits to deal 1 damage at a time means the battle will be over before this Skill can be broken through. To make matters even better, SAT’s HP pool is the highest out of all SGs and she possesses a very respectable 22 Armor stat on top of her shield.

All of these factors combined place SAT-8 head and shoulders above other defense oriented SGs and make her the most durable of the class. She is definitely an SG that should not be passed on, and one to aim for if she has not yet been obtained.

SAT8 provides the two most useful buffs for all MGs, and because of that she is not picky about her teammates. Some MGs are more equal than others, though, and choices such as PKP, PK, MG5 and M2HB will show better performance than others.

Damage buffing HGs

As SAT8 carries Accuracy tile buffs, it is best to focus on buffing MGs with as much damage as possible — though an extra Accuracy buff will not do harm as it will still increase MG reliability substantially. Some good HGs for MG Echelons are Mk23, SAA, M1895 and Grizzly.
