New Tier List Placements

5 Star Servants

Tier C+

Kingprotea is a larger-than-life Alter Ego with a hefty AoE Buster Noble Phantasm. Her unique gimmick is her ability to continually "grow", stacking Max HP buffs over the course until her HP total gets an additional 30,000 HP tacked on. She can choose to consume her HP buff stacks to convert them into NP Gauge, and with at least 5 stacks she can fill her NP gauge fully with the skill alone. It should be noted that her NP deals bonus damage if she still has her growth buffs still active, so it may not necessarily be best choice damage-wise to consume the buffs for NP Gauge, and Masters will have to wield her second skill mindfully. She also comes with an impressive self ATK buff that lasts three turns, making her essentially a lumbering tank in both durability and offense. She does lack hard defensive options, however, and her skills make it so that her effectiveness increases slowly over multiple turns, encouraging a more stall-oriented play style, which may discourage Masters from fielding her if they want to play faster. However, she deals respectable damage and makes for a solid addition to the team against any Cavalry waves, being among the higher-damaging AoE Alter Ego Servants. If Masters are willing to make space for her, Kingprotea will be more than happy to make more than a few enemy pancakes.

Tier List Movements

5 Star Servants

Tier C -> C+

Semiramis receives a very welcome buff to her NP damage, adding a nifty Buff Removal Resistance +100% effect for all allies for a single turn upon its usage. The damage upgrade gives the Hanging Gardens enough power to make experience farming with her much smoother. General consensus was that she deserves a bump to her tier placement as a result.

Semiramis: C -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.52) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Dathedr - B-][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C+][Ceui - C+]

Tier C+ -> B

Sessyoin Kiara, now with an added AoE buff removal effect on her second skill plus a shorter cooldown, provides many effects that are desirable in challenging encounters. Despite Alter Ego classing being suboptimal for damage, her availability of a 50% NP charge, and a plethora of utility effects make her a great asset to the roster. All staff unanimously agreed that raising her tier placement was due.

Sessyoin Kiara: C+ -> B (Avg Score: 8) - [NorseFTX - B][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Dathedr - B][Meliran - B][Rathilal - B][Ceui - B]

Tier D+ -> C+

Ryougi Shiki (Saber)'s Noble Phantasm receives a long overdue damage upgrade. In addition, she will now grant the entire party +10% NP Gauge after her NP deals damage, which helps improve her own refund while also bringing party members closer to using their NP. With the upgrade, she is now agreed to be a respectable AoE Saber option, and deserves a bump up in tier from her former D+ tier placement.

Ryougi Shiki (Saber): D+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.53) - [NorseFTX - C+][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - B-]

4 Star Servants

Tier C+ -> C+

Passionlip's upgrade helps with both her damage and heal output on her NP. Even so, the actual damage her NP inflicts, even post-upgrade, leaves some to be desired, particularly at NP1. Her performance is improved, although it was generally agreed that the upgrade wasn't quite enough to change her placement.

Passionlip: C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.48) - [NorseFTX - B-][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - B][Dathedr - B][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C+][Ceui - C+]

Tier D+ -> C

Thomas Edison's new ally-targetable skill cooldown reduction upgrade, in combination with his other upgrades, solidifies him as a niche support Servant. Skill cooldown reduction is relatively flexible and applicable to all Servants (with varying mileage depending on their base skill cooldown), while Overcharge also varies in effectiveness based on the Servant's NP effects. It was generally agreed that his unique utility was enough to bump him up a grade.

Thomas Edison: D+ -> C (Avg Score: 6.9) - [NorseFTX - C][TrubotheDwarf - D][WhiteRabbit - C+][Dathedr - C][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C][Ceui - C]

Tier D -> D+

Beowulf receives a much appreciated way to better take advantage of the stars that he generates with his Intuition skill. Formerly, given his Berserker class low innate star weight, Intuition could be easily wasted if any ally had higher star weight than he did. This helps give him one turn of critical burst, which was agreed to deserve a bump in tier. However, his future third skill upgrade will be much more impressive; in the meantime, a move from D to D+ was agreed to be fair.

Beowulf: D -> D+ (Avg Score: 6.62) - [NorseFTX - C-][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - C+][Dathedr - D+][Meliran - D+][Rathilal - D+][Ceui - D+]

Tier C -> C+

The upgrade for Li Shuwen's NP puts him among the higher-damage single target Lancers of his rarity. Both damage output as well as the DEF debuff effect on his NP were strengthened. His upgrade is solid, and his improved damage was agreed to deserve a tier bump.

Li Shuwen: C -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.48) - [NorseFTX - B-][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - B][Dathedr - B][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C+][Ceui - C+]

Tier C -> B

Nero gains a coveted NP Gauge charge skill, which gives 30% charge at max level. In addition, the skill gains a situational field-dependent Arts buff of up to 20%, only taking effect when near water or in a city battlefield. This skill upgrade enhances Nero's ease of use as a farmer, and also improves her performance in challenging quests, giving her an extra bit of oomph in the right field types--especially given the skill at max level has a 5-turn cooldown. In combination with her strong staying power with the help of her 3-time Guts, she is now a very respectable Servant covering both farming and last stand Servant niches.

Nero Claudius: C -> B (Avg Score: 7.67) - [NorseFTX - B-][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C+][Rathilal - B]

Tier A -> A

Assassin Ryougi also receives a Noble Phantasm damage upgrade, solidifying her position as an excellent go-to ST Assassin damage dealer given her Welfare status. The upgrade adds a defensive debuff that lasts 3 turns to her NP (albiet applying after damage), which will boost further incoming damage onto her target. The upgrade is solid, although it was generally agreed that even with the upgrade, this does not quite push Ryougi Shiki up a tier. Still, she remains a solid Servant at Tier A.

Ryougi Shiki (Assassin): A -> A (Avg Score: 9.07) - [NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - A+][Rathilal - A]

1-3 Star Servants

Tier B+ -> B+

Andersen's tier remains unchanged, despite getting one of the better rank ups in the recent batch. His upgrade provides an NP regen buff of 10% per turn over 3 turns, which means the gauge won't be available until at least the next turn after use, and requires a full 3 turns before the full NP amount is available. In teams that he excels in (stalling teams), this effect is excellent, although it doesn't quite change the fact that in most cases people would opt for other support options over him. When looking at the quality of his offensive support, he only provides a chance-based ATK buff tied to his NP, which can be unreliable. Furthermore, it can be difficult to keep him on the field due to his low HP, so oftentimes Master may elect to go with other support options. Even so, he's still a very useful Servant particularly for Masters with limited rosters, especially for his rarity, so he remains in tier B+.

Hans Christian Andersen: B+ -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.24) - [NorseFTX - B+][TrubotheDwarf - C][WhiteRabbit - B+][Dathedr - B+][Meliran - A][Rathilal - B+][Ceui - B+]
